Official Otakon '09 FAKKU meetup topic

I'm hoping that at some point during the Otakon weekend, we'll be able to get a few people together and grab some lunch, dinner, or something of the sort. The purpose of this topic is to check the interest of such a meetup and to organize it so we can rock out. I'll update the list of people interested in attending our meetup as we go, so please let me know if and when you'll be able to hang out for a bit.

UPDATE: How about dinner Saturday evening? Like around 7 or 8. Location unknown as of right now.

i definitely will be going to otakon (just made the final decision today... yay) and may be interested in something like this. :P

I'll be there the the 18th, and most likely the 19th depending on my sleeping arrangements. This should be fun! Lump me with maybe though. I'm too scared to come alone, and it might be tough to explain to my friends.

If I could I'd so go with you D; I'm so sad I can't go this year.

The most I can say to help out is that none of us are creepy :D

I actually don't live near Baltimore so I don't get into the city much. The city as a whole is pretty spotty, but I'll look around to see what I can find. Worst comes to worst, we'll all just have to pile into my car and drive to Annapolis (which has some good eats).

I'm so sad you can't go this year too. I'll drag you up with my own two hands next year!

I'm going and bringing a friend. Is anyone needs a room send me a PM or catch me on IRC asap, or if you've got room for 2 people in your room and would like to let us stay for some cash. We'd be game for that.

What day would be best for everyone to meet up for lunch/dinner? Friday or Saturday works for me, so I'll go with whatever works best for the majority.

Shockingly, I may actually be there, despite having never been to a convention of any sorts other than flute. I'll see what's happening and post back here if I am coming.

And yes, Maryland blue crab is great.
