If you guys do a meet up, I think I'd try to pop up. It'd be interesting to do.
Also, I am a Marylander and if you've ever had Maryland crab balls, or a Maryland Blue Crab then no, you haven't had one. You've had one that was prepared wrong.

I'll be there all weekend. I was originally going with a friend but he backed out last week so I'll be there all alone (I got a room at the sheraton this year no way I was going to give it up). Nobody here knows me but I think it would be fun to meet some new people while I'm down there. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if something is decided.

Well, we should decide on a place and time to meet up. Are any of you very familiar with the surroundings and places to eat? I've never been to Otakon, so I'm unfamiliar with all that jazz.

There will be a pre-reg line probably since thursday as well. All anime conventions have the longest pre-reg line ever and buying a regular badge takes no time at all which is retarded! Would love to meet you guys I love this site ._.

its not to bad. I think when I went last year it went around the convention to the end of the street and back to the front of the line. we were in line for about 45 mins. We had one friend who had to buy a pass and it took him about the same amount of time to get in. if u guys want to meet up on friday I would say sometime after 2 or 3 to say hello, then drinks later in the day. Just a thought.

Thirded. I currently live in MD and been living here for 14 yrs never heard nothing bout crab balls

i meant to post earlier but better late than never i guess :sweatdrop:
but anyhoo, i will definately be attending otakon as it is pretty much a bus line away from my house
although i have lived in baltimore all my life, the downtown/harbor area is a mystery to me so i don't know many great places to eat there =(

Good seafood place we tried the last time was bang opposite the main building or a block away to the left (if you're standing on the same side as the convention's buildings).
I'll be there, in terms of meeting up ... I dunno, extremely shy XD
