Since Fakku has no aversion to publishing controversial content, is the plan to reinstate the relevant controversial tags as licensed material is added to the site?
Also as someone that was never really involved in this community it's interesting to see people react to the removal of unlicensed scanlations from Fakku. I understand the feeling of losing a community, that sucks; however, it's not as if these scanlations, particularly parody doujinshi, or the people responsible for them are going to disappear from the internet. There's hundreds of places to get scanlations, whether it's directly from scanlators' blogs, aggregation sites similar to Fakku, or other means. Currently, you could probably count the number of places you can get physical copies of tanks, magazines, or doujinshi in english (let alone uncensored) on one hand. I think there's a lot more value to consumers of hentai in what Fakku is trying to do now than what it was doing prior to the Wani agreement.
That's what's so absurd about all the outrage. People are acting like they're customers and Jacob is deleting all the stuff they paid for, when in reality they were all getting it for free. I too understand being disappointed, but shouldn't fans of hentai be delighted that the Western market isn't being ignored anymore? Piracy might not always equate to direct harm, but it's certainly not going to grow an industry, not on it's own.
