I'm beginning to get really sick of all of this legal crap. None of this mattered a year ago! I mean, come on! This isn't Saint FUCKING Peter's basilica! Honestly, I wouldn't mind paying a few dollars a month for better quality jerking, but it should have been solved LONG before I joined this site 4 years ago! Am I alone here? I'm an artist and my art has been used without my permission! But I don't gripe! The whole point of art is expression, not capitalism! Fairly certain that there was a legal ruling that art depicting underage girls was not illegal, or something to that sense, and hentai is considered a form of artwork, legally.
I don't know the exacts on it or anything like that, but I do know that some states made it illegal to look at underage hentai or artwork depicting children nude. It's part of the Terms of Service and when you check the, "I've read the ToS" one part of that is that you accept full responsibility should the content of Fakku be banned in your area.
I mean, guns and alcohol are illegal in several states, but you can still find websites that sell them online. The good thing about the internet is it has no real borders. What's legal in one country does not affect the legality of another country nor the content hosted in that country.

Basically you shouldn't be angry because it is a privilege, not a right, to be given free access to a wide variety of society-condemned smut. That said, unless you take this is a time to quit (and I personally haven't committed any atrocities from this type of thing), you are of entirely of mind in finding a dealer who actually provides.

Probably like 99:1 if not more? All parody doujinshi and CG sets are right out, as are pretty much every other work that Fakku aren't themselves distributing.

I've been a loyal part of Fakku for 4 years, and I'm disappointed that this had to have happened this way. Two thirds of my favourites collected over those 4 years are gone without me having received any warning to at least save the titles. Was planning on buying books if I were to spot some that I liked, but I don't think I'll be doing that or visiting this site any longer. It would have been so much better if you had just removed the desired content but saved the titles for us. I'm saddened to leave a site that I love and have faithfully followed for so long, but it looks like it's time to move on. I see a very hard road for Fakku after this, but I wish you luck and hope you don't come to regret some of these choices in the future. It's been a good run!

About the export tool you are working on.
Will newer members be able to export content that was removed but they never got the chance to favorite it?
Will there be a list of what content/title was/will be removed when the time comes with the exporting tool? (I know it will be a pain in the ass to find/list every title that was removed, but I think if people are trying to export/find their removed content they should at least get to know what titles/content they missed are)

Though here's something that's on my mind. Artists who create their own, unique and original content, will they be able to release their work for free on Fakku should they wish to? There are a lot of comics and other stuff floating out there that I am pretty damn skippy sure is free for the masses. Not to mention its drawn exceptionally well.
I like to think of Fakku as a place where high-quality, well drawn hentai/porn is brought together and shared with a sizeable chunk of humans, male and female alike. So what's to say that we gotta have ALL the free stuff vanish? Can we do this? Cos I think we can. I got a feeling.
Well, that and two comics I've been toiling over for a good long time now that I really would like to throw up here. Just saying. Fakku is good about highlighting content, instead of it getting lost in the jungle of G.e-hentai.com

With all due respect, how does reading these works, without participating in any type of discussion or commentary, help to spread the word of an artists skill to others. I don't doubt Kinkykitten00's love for the works he/she has read on this site, but that doesn't make him/her an advocate. We all appreciate the works of these Manga/Doujinshi artists, or we wouldn't be here. If anything, it is the scanlation groups and translators who deserve our thanks for putting the works of those artist into the public eye when we otherwise would have likely overlooked them. Because of them, despite their dubious legality, Fakku has proven that hentai works can be marketable outside of Japan, but it also means removing the content that would hinder its move to publishing legitimacy.
Kinkykitten00's rant was nothing more than the cry of a child whose stolen toy was taken away and returned to its rightful owner. To say otherwise is to coddle an already spoiled child.
Lastly, I was not 'dissing' lurkers in general, but this particular one. I was a lurker too, for about a month, while I decided whether to become a member of these forums. If all you want to do is read these works, then by all means lurk away, but don't act like those who lurk are helping the market, or the artists who drew their favorite works. People don't sit around discussing hentai in their break rooms at work, it is in forums like this that most meaningful discussion of an artist's merits are discussed. So, if someone's not an active member of this site, why should I give their opinion any undue respect.

I respect the choice of FAKKU! to become invested into actual licensed content and it will be my first to go site when it comes to digital licensed content. However the removal of the Monstergirl and Tentacles tag broke my heart, I'll have to move on. Good luck on your endeavour, Jacob!
