I'll be making a few different posts about some of the changes that went into effect yesterday. This first one is about one of the biggest changes, dividing the manga section into
Manga and
Doujinshi!
This is something I have wanted to do for a long time now, and I'm happy to have finally made the change. For those of who who don't know the difference the
manga section will always contain original work and stories, and the
doujinshi section will always contain content that is based on an existing anime, video game, or manga series. This change allows us to bring more order to the two sections, and it will allow us to upload more diverse manga and doujinshi.
Note: The above is a very
very general explanation of the differences between the two types of content as they pertain to the categories on FAKKU. For a more detailed explanation, read the posts in this topic!
Here is an example of a manga,
If We Could Meet By the Sea by
Teri Terio.
Here is an example of a
Neon Genesis Evangelion doujinshi called
Mina no Asuka.
And for those wondering
the Nosebleed forum still exists, but it is no longer on the top menu. Also, the ability to download doujins or manga from the site will be unavailable until we upgrade our file servers.
