If it was from a news place and not twitter/facebook/some random blog made to do be 'citizen journalism' then maybe. With that... even fox news is reporting Clinton was half a million more votes over the donald.
Spoiler:
And the rest of the newspapers and news outlets who has a count on the mobile side are similar. Sadly we don't have one govt site with the tally since we have 50 states who in charge for the public vote so unless you want to go to every state site plus dc and calculate them, but all the news organizations are doing right now anyway. There still absentee ballots from outside the United States from citizens in different countries and the military, but doubt it will matter. Most of them send it in like me a month ago and they get them earlier that us state dide.
But those numbers were decided before they even finished counting them. They really should check.
Funny thing was Trump was ahead by two million at the moment he was announced the winner.
If they can "update" the information to show her winning, it should go the other way as well.
At the very least we'll stop getting retards that say that Hillary won because she got the popular vote.
So 30 mins ago update isn't fast enough... from the Republican news channel? I'm sure all the votes received by yesterday to when the first vote cast has been counted with the other 50 states... because cali has counted all the ballots... the largest election in the US. Atleast the ones not send after the election post marked. 500 thousand ballots aren't gonna be received with Tuesday postmark.
Well first of all dude I'm not Republican. So I don't watch any Republican news channels.
Second of all I'll give it awhile for them to finalize results. for all I know they might have just accidentally "lost" some ballets.

But does it really matter if he does? Will it change the fact he is the president elect unless he caught doing something the congress has to impeach him or someone blows him up? Bush lost by 2 million vote, he still was the president. Fucking Quincy Adams didn't even win the popular nor electoral vote and still the president. Votes don't matter in the prez elections. Only what states you won on the big map of numbers.
And how many votes from illegal immigrants that shouldn't be voting voted for Hilary.
And don't say it didn't happen. Obama fucking encouraged them to vote in an interview.
There's roughly what, 11 million illegal immigrants here. I'm pretty sure more than 5% of them voted for her which completely accounts for the difference in popular vote and then some.
And beyond that, BOTH sides ran a campaign designed for Electoral Votes over popular votes. Maybe if Hilary actually ran a campaign that looked like she was going for the popular vote (yeah right, betcha she ran minimal ads in California and New York) you could argue about popular votes at that time. But that's not the type of campaign she waged. That's not the type of campaign Trump waged.
And the electoral college SHOULD stay in place. It might need revamping to some degree to bring it more in line and make it so it's actually worth it to travel to a variety of other cities. But it absolutely should stay in place. Pure popular vote would isolate the country further than it already is under the current system. And it would mean that a handful of cities in the country would decide everything.

And that interview was debunked to be cut and pasted edit. Since you know the internet is wide and far reaching. Watch the whole interview. Obama is urging Latino citizens to vote in order to give voice to members of their community who are precluded from doing so by lack of citizenship, not urging non-citizens to vote illegally. 3:22
You do know to register to vote in California you need your driver's license / identification card and your Social Security number, at least the four last numbers. How many mojados have legal social security number or at least a register fake ass one with. There's not even enough documents to do it. It's hard to find the person who can put in the info and make the Social Security and birth certificate and Naturalization papers into the system. Even taking a dead babies one is harder then buying the documents just to pass on visual inspection. The state does check them out. You do know a visa or green card can't work also, right. Are there some who voted... not sure since no one know the actual amount of voter fraud happens. Not enough to affect state or federal elections. Maybe the mayor race in a dirt town in new Mexico maybe. I'm sure the other states in the west/east are the same registration. now there are some non citizens who has legal numbers but can't vote since the state check the info out on your legal resident, citizenship and criminal record. Shit i get a letter every time i vote since i vote early and by mail asking if i did vote because my signature doesn't match my voter card. I really need to go in and change back to polling place... My signing hand is fucked.
Why is it a bad thing to have the same process you elect your senator and mayor with the same who fucking wins the cola wars but not your leader of the federal govt. If 538 people are the real ones who vote for the prez... why in the fuck do we have a election? Even in Britian you vote for your mp and in by pm party. You don't get to actually vote for the pm but at least you vote for the elector. And of course it's better that the people choose what is in the majority. I'M A RURAL HICK ALSO. You think I like that three counties control the state, but guess what that part of the social contract in a representative democracy. The majority is the decider of the people voice.
Also ad wise... more than trump. Because he knows he would lose here and the northwest. NY more since he lives there... it's sad when even your own people didn't even make it a close race... here he won in the 75%. Not California, just a county in the center... the ones with the majority of those illegals. Welcome to farmland. Ever wonder why your fruits are soooooo cheap. Mexican slave labor. I should know. My mexican side are the ones who get them the jobs on the orchard and vineyards. At least my dead grandfather pay them better then the rest. They actually got min wage and butcher meats for holidays.

Yeah but Identity fraud is a huge issue, one that's tied to illegal immigration. Don't call bullshit but then go on to say you don't know how much voter fraud there is or isn't. Challenge the source posted by Reno.
>why are state/local elections different from federal elections
Do I really need to explain? Is it not apparent or are you genuinely so enamored with direct democracy/mob rule you genuinely can't see why? I mean, even in my civics 6th grade class I knew why. The biggest flaw of the electoral college is of course the winner takes all route many states take.

Because there only 33 i think cases of voter fraud since 2000, of course there more but that the thing... no one knows. It's not like we have one election. We have 50 states which the counties are running the show, but more like many more then the counties since the precincts are there own little election. If it wouldn't change the effect of the 41th precincts of napa county... how is it gonna effect the 30,000 other precincts in cali alone. That why voter fraud can ever work.... to many ballot to stuff. The electronic voter booth seem to be where you can fuck with large numbers if the counties didn't know the amount of voters in that area.
Except where the sources there 3 million illegals voting at? All i found was wordpress, fake blogs, infowars and blogs from citizen journalist. What the point of challenging twitter clickbait from breitbart? There is none. If your only source of news is the shit on your twitter feed and news source is Milo Yiannopoulos and believes in this without some genuine news source of any creditable caliber. Fuck even Fox News has creditable shit most of the time. A lot of opinions fake news points, but at least the news sources are fact checked. People live in their own world. Now im not saying Reno does or doesn't rely on his face book and twitter feed to know what happening. But does his bubble doesn't let in opposing view points. I talked to a woman who actually believes since the electoral college wasn't discussed in her school classes 30 years ago... it not true. Even if you give sources. Creditable non partisan sites and where it is in the Constitution... people who are stuck in their believes won't changes them even if Jesus himself slap them in the face and call them out. What even the point? People gonna believe what is comfortable to their options.
And yes. If the guy running for senate or house is gauge by the majority win form of election... why should the president be another form that was created by the Framers as a safety valve. A way of disqualify a candidate for various reasons up to those who are on the college. Fuck even if we change it to some else it defeats the purpose for voting. A system where 13 states could choose for the other 37 isn't that fine of a system. Even if we go by a congressional district based system where who win the 16th California district wins that electors point... it doesn't change the fact that only 40 times the electoral and popular vote was on par. It's not like it only was talked about when it happen. 1976 they try to reform it. 1954 they tried to repeal it. I just don't see why the oldest way of electing isn't outdated over what states points you win vs the majority of votes. Fuck it let's make the states even. From California to Rhode Island. The same 3 points to a majority. It not like the 'Great compromise' is necessary now of days. We don't consider a black man to be 3/5 of a human anymore.
Im only stating an option mostly. It's not like im a constant watcher of every news and option outlet. I don't even watch cable news that much unless something happens or it pops up on my phone. I just read the paper and watch the 6pm nbc news and cbs/fox local news. Im just a chowderhead who can read and think. I spend more time on this thread then i do playing with myself and trying to beat the link to the past hack. Im going back to that.
People live in their own world.
his bubble doesn't let in opposing view points.
People gonna believe what is comfortable to their options.
This can be applied to literally everyone. What's the point of not challenging clickbait but insisting something does or doesn't exist without any proof against it? Seems like a pointless back and forth between two biases.

Maybe because the two elected officials have two different functions?
Maybe their policies affect vastly different groups and are carried out in different ways?
An imperfect balancing act between 2 forms of govt, as in imperfect as it might be, is no reason to go to mob rule.

1. Direct democracy is older.
2. If the states were even I'd just be senate votes again.
3. They weren't considered human at all and that's a problem of a terrible compromise that undermined the system. Something being corruptible otherwise every human institution should be ridden of. This isn't me saying it's perfect, but the validity of 1 regional candidate getting the highest federal positions in a non-representative government is shitty.
I should have probably said gerrymandering is an issue with the electoral college too.
Direct democracy in america... it's hard enough to get 1/3 of the people to vote once every 4 years. Imagine getting them to vote for every governmental decision. Even congress barely can do it and it part of there job.

That's an argument to keep the current government as it is.
Otherwise what you're saying is that the few people who vote should be able to tell how the rest of the country should live.
