Fakku Café

The Fakku Cafe owned by uLan and then lui are iconic bits of CTFG. The regulars of the section/cafe won't feel as comfortable being in a thread with Ryssen as the OP because they don't know or trust him/her to tend to the thread as they are used to. It's like when the owner of your actual favorite cafe changes. The recipes change, the atmosphere changes, and you find yourself visiting less and less because it's just not the same warm, comforting place as it used to be.

Honestly, they are just fucking with you guys. Both Ryssen and Waar will get bored eventually, but right now they are just trying to get a rise out of you by disturbing the normality in CTFG and causing a ruckus over an otherwise calm topic.

Lui, if you don't want to waste time, just make a new chat thread. Call it the Fakku Cafeteria or Coffee Shop or Lounge. But I suggest none of you waste another breath on this trolly nonsense.

I wouldnt count those, who werent in the cafe too often.

I think it's pretty evident that Ryssen does not frequent CTFG, nor is he likely to frequent it from this point forward either.

As with certain points highlighted in the previous incarnation of the Fakku cafe (v2), some of the key attributes that need to be associated with the thread creator is that he/she needs to be frequently online and capable of making the place lively.

Why Luin, you might ask? Allow me to elaborate.
Throughout my past tenure and patronization of the cafe (v3) that was headed by Luin, he has shown that he is quite able at maintaining a steady presence in the cafe, even when he is at work or at home.
He does not simply appear online either - he makes sure to post in the thread frequently, and has never appeared unfriendly or hostile in the thread to any given individual or group. His frequency has prevented the cafe from staying dead silent plenty of times.

Further more, the cafe (v3) has seen its fare share of turmoil in the past, all of which Luin had (in my opinion) handled well, ensuring that no newcomer or frequent poster would feel disinterested from participating.

That'd be kinda cute like chat cafe presidency~! xD New owner every few years -cough- (cause its gonna get shut down by waar anyway) cough cough...

Still you won't debate luin... You seem to think I'm just going to give this to you. If you want this you're going to have to earn it with your words. You asked for a discussion but thus far all it looks like is that you want to make the thread regardless of the outcome of the discussion.

I have said my opinion, and so have many others by now. It should be quite easy to see what the people of the café want, and it should only get more clear with every new post. Is it really so hard to see and act accordingly?

well, the old cafe was locked down immeadiately with the notice (which is fucking outdated by the way. J only said stuff about the V2 cafe there
(Forum search gave no results for the quote btw.) so it pretty much went down to first come first serve.
Now, when lots of opinions have gathered for a new thread made by luin - there is "no discussion"

I'd like to point out that a thread in CTFG will almost definitely be frequented by CTFGers, and based on your post in the secret santa thread, you dislike the assumed posting style that everyone here supposedly uses. The cafe is meant to not be biased in that regard.



It's important to prioritize, and studies should come first. Given that you are unable to be here due to studies, there really shouldn't be a reason why you should be so persistent about taking this responsibility from someone who is more able (in this regard).

From my experience, a forced job is unlikely to be produce good results.



Please take notice that I said "never appeared unfriendly", and not "very friendly". Luin does not approach every new individual he comes into contact with like some overly eager salesman.
