Q: Why is my little Durpi is always hiding underneath stuff whenever guest are over?
A: Durpis are very shy Nekos. Try to pick up your Durpi and let people play with him.

A: Dark magic accidentally turned a kitten named "Kuthami" into a human and her first child "Ninamu" had the ability to transform into a cat. Since Nekos were extremely popular at the time the certain breed of Nekos were named "Hatsuns" after their constant cat inspired headgear and sun naps. The breed Hatsuns were all female Nekos until 50 years later after the first Hatsun, 2 Hatsuns had a male kitten...
Confused and scared the Hatsuns hissed at the kitten for several hours until finally accepting and naming him "Durpington " because they failed having a Hatsun. Durpis were originally call "Male Hatsuns" until people found the first Durpis nickname, "Durpi" cuter.
Q: Best gift for a Durpi and Hatsun?
A: Collar/Choker with a bell attached to it.
