Also, there's a full-on fiesta happening in the neighborhood directly next to mine (so the house is like one block away) and they have an actual mariachi band there or something because we can all hear loud trumpets and singing going on. Feel bad for those who have to get up early tomorrow... lol.

[color=#006FFF]Ah it's no biggie for me--no need for me to get up super early tomorrow. I was watching Crunchyroll on my PS3 so I just had to turn it up a little more haha. I have no clue what they're playing now though.. sounds like techno or motorcycles or something. Not very fiesta-like lol.

Amusingly enough, despite loving things like reggaeton and salsa (what with growing up in a pretty heavily-influenced Puerto Rican house and all) I really don't like the typical mariachi music. Can't dance to it nor does it get me pumped or anything. D: *is probably in the minority for salsa/reggeaton fans on here but still* haha

I've been alright. Not much to say as far as new stuff goes but I can't complain either so it's all been good. And yeah, haha. Maybe it's just because I was a regular at the original thread when that was made years ago that I feel a little compelled and pulled here for socializing. My neighborhood is pretty quiet though actually. Not many people come out to chat with one another, be that a good thing or bad, so most people keep to themselves. I remember when I first moved here, there were a ton of kids (myself included) and we'd all hang out, play football or something in the street but now that everyone's grown up, it's way more empty and a little boring. Kind of wish some friends from campus lived nearby but ah well.

[color=#006FFF]I know what you mean; I like the quiet scenery around here but I kind of really want to go visit New York again since it's been forever. I can see myself moving up there later on in life--sort of a whole sea turtle thing with moving back to "home" since I was born there haha. I'd probably live in the suburbs though, juuust within reach of the big city but not so close that I'm in the middle of a ton of noise.

[color=#006FFF]Yeah, price is pretty much the biggest factor when it comes to living there lol. I'm a little more partial to Long Island though anyway. My actual birthplace! _b Apparently we Long Islanders have one of the most distinct accents? I've heard this for some time but have no clue what that is. I mean, I do say some things differently like coffee (KAW-fee) or chocolate (chawk-let) but I just thought that was NY in general haha.
