In this world, there were many kinds of legendary swords. Most notably, the legendary sword that cleaves evil, Excalibur, which could only be wield by the greatest paladins, this sword could cut anything, including the demon king himself. The legendary blade itself has also defeated countless evil, and put the entire demon race into massacre, a weapon really to be reckoned with, rumors said that this sword was forged by a divine angel with his own blood and soul.

It was said that the angel died right after he finished forging this sword, and the curiosity of his fellow angels turn them all into dispute to who has the most righteous spirit in order to wield such holy sword. The blade was cast away right after by Deus, the leader of Angels, in order to subdue the uprising in the Throne of Skies. And it soon ends up...pierced deep down a sacred stone waiting to be pulled out.

The first one ever to pull this sword was actually a sickly maiden named Medivh, who soon enough becomes the most reliable aide to Grand Inquisitor Alexander, one of the greatest leaders ever to grace the history of this nation under his leadership. This sword also gave the bearer some kind of immortality and the ability to regenerate oneself, making Medivh to be one of the most powerful swordswoman ever lived.

There's also such bloodthirsty sword that could even kill a deity, called the Sinclaire. Only those with the most wicked mind would be able to wield such monstrosity, as most people who tried to touch it got their souls sucked into oblivion for the rest of their lifetime. The rumors within the creation of such murderous weapon still lies in mystery, many people cowers in fear of imagining what kind of being would create such terrible weapon that wreaks havoc throughout eternity? Unlike Excalibur...there's only a few things that this sword can cut, but the effects were absolutely devastating.

It's the only known weapon in this world to be able to destroy the immortal soul itself, making the person cease to exist for eternity, being excluded from the reincarnation cycle...leaving the consciousness into the realm of nothingness with no end. Sinclaire doesn't really harm the physical body, though it will mercilessly shatter the soul and turn every single being with consciousness into havoc even just being near it.

The effects of massive bleeding could be witnessed with Sinclaire damaging those with an ethereal body, such as deities. And unlike Excalibur, the bearer doesn't get immortality at all. Rumors said that, upon their death, the swordbearer will become a part of sword's consciousness themsleves, and there's no escape from their fate.

There was one people known for wielding such terrifying weapon, his name's Forbidden. He was known to hate everything that exists, enough to make himself to break into the Throne of Angels, then proceeds to kill Deus, who hath governed the angels since a very long time. Thus there was a tragedy which leads to the 'Time of Empty Throne', moving the entire humanity even further with the deity and angels, and even closer towards the demons that the humans loathed so much.

No one knows what happened to Forbidden, though it's said by a popular belief that he was killed by a gunshot, from his partner, Pendragon, who wield the sword for a brief moment before tossing it again to the pool of holy blood belonging to Deus, whose body had disappeared right on the spot after he's killed in a tremendous fight. The effect of the holy blood rendered Sinclaire's abilities dormant for a prolonged time, this sword oblivion were then sealed inside the deepest recesses no one has ever found until this moment. It's also known by the prophecy that, the next time Sinclaire arises, it will be the time of this world's Apocalypse.

The clash between good and evil, which one shall win...Excalibur or Sinclaire?

I don't know for myself, but I do remember of one sword that's more powerful than both of these combined, which has the infamous title as 'The Sword that Cleaves Homosexuality', that goes by the almighty name of 'Adamantinum Ingot Destruction Sword'
