I first heard of it while I was listening to a song, the band sampled the particular spoken words from Alan Watts for their composition in that song and that's how I came across this quote~

I am back albeit for one second. I have a 2500 report on bloody toothpaste to manage and it is terrible if only because I actually have to do research!

On the other hand, I have written an essay in Oriental lithographs as an assignment. Concerns human nature, (let me express mock resentment and say that it is) a topic that is a writing contest winner, and is frankly idiotic navel gazing that I so happen to enjoy!

It is strangely much easier than writing that stupid toothpaste report. May translate it and post it somewhere in the site. But again, most of my ideas don't materialise because I don't know how to manage time properly.

For the upcoming National Novel Writing Month, I'm thinking of writing a 50k words story filled with nonsense~

What is the National Novel Writing Month about though? Who is organising it? I apologise for sounding like an interrogator but this is because I am a terrible communicator.

I see. It is some kind of online initiative it seems. They do seem to encourage people writing silly stories and I don't mind silly stories in fact I love them!

Do you think complaining about being a writer can count as an idea for a novel or a novel idea for a novel? Perhaps write a story about how you don't want to write a story?

For a novel there has to be a cast of the Protagonist in addition of some main and supporting roles, not to mention you blatantly told them that this is a fictional story when you're actually inserting your IRL rants then call it 'fiction'

I might write in first person on the viewpoint of a certain character that complains a damn lot about being a silly author that has a defunct logic, not to mention he also cross-dresses for the lulz~

Yes. If I were in your shoes, the difficult part ought to be imagining the responses of other people. This is where going to Incoherent Babbling or reading the newspapers could help. Or even posting silly ideas and sending PMs to people on the site and gauging their reaction (of course I wouldn't encourage you for to send PMs to strangers.)

ED: I see. The novels have to be completely fictional? I was always under the impression that all fiction draws inspiration from non-fiction. But I see your point, novels can't be monologues.

On a side note, the University's being such a bitch and I already want to graduate soon even though there's still about 2 years left of hard and painful work to be done =(

It might be because it also contributes the factor that I usually don't want to do anything besides things that pique my interest and the studies doesn't really interest me the way I want to be interested with

3 years for me. I will be graduating at August 2015. Too stupid to take a 3 and a half years course, have to settle for 4. What piques my interest is teaching / sharing what I know and in order to do that, I need to learn more. So I am attempting to put in effort into University, but I admire you. You know what your priorites are. If University is not helping you, you wouldn't care any less about it, and that takes a lot of courage.

After the experience of dropping out from my previous major and changing schools, it made me quite rebellious in nature, well there's been many hard times as well so I wouldn't recommend anyone stepping into the same path as me~

That to be said, I'll only do the assignments or study whenever I felt like it. And it's quite a miracle how I am able to pass most of the courses this way with my miniscule level of intelligence~

Possibly what piques me the most in this department is Video Games, and by learning about the making these exciting games as a part of studies might possibly be the only factor which contributes to me staying this far =D

I'll most likely be developing the games for my thesis as I also got the Multimedia specialization on my current major

Why not write a novel for children concerning evolution?

It might be too complex for me, I just want to stick on things simple and highly entertaining as I also have to lessen up the stress pent-up during tedious school sessions not to mention my other writing projects, it will be a project to ultimately blow off some steam by writing things that are absolutely meaningless for the sake of being meaningless because I'd like to make things as meaninglessly meaningless as possible!
