^ Xnine should be happy. I have slept for 10 hours and now I have absolutely no idea what to do! I need to get a diary right now. My mind is not geared up for productive activity, nonetheless I am not surprised at how the polls turn out. Pacifica's entry really made me read paragraph after paragraph so you know something is right (wrong) about it. And I get the impression that something more beautiful is to the taste of many readers here as opposed to something very ugly.

it should have been taken note of that my favorite entries won't change regardless how the actual poll has turned out. meaning: don't get discouraged man, you're still one of my favorite authors here and it doesn't change the fact that I enjoyed reading your writings~

Don't worry about the polls. They are not an indication of how good the author is but rather what people like. If I were to change my style of writing, I anticipate that my writing can only get worse.

the same could be said for me too, I don't feel like writing something I don't really like writing even if the majority actually likes it~

I think what truly matters is that we truly enjoy our moments when we dedicate ourselves to work on our own writings

You didn't lose yet! And that's a pretty good point. Losing does mean that there is room for improvement. I guess sometimes, being at the top isn't as amazing as it is cut out to be.

well yeah there's still many days left before the competition ends to figure whether we lose or not~

though even if I might lost, I think I learned something which enables me to utilize all my potentials to the extent I've never used before. I'll never know what kind of things I would come up with in the future~

you bet, when someone wins so easily it won't be a really memorable experience indeed, I guess they will just take it for granted...
