reminds me of the first MGS, damn that game has lot of feels.
on a side note. I'm currently playing Civ 5. damn man, I can't get the background song outta my head, it just keeps playing and playing outta nowhere lol =D
so fucking addictive I really lost track of time, I even forgot to eat damn.
well I'm playing as Babylon at that time, and I'm really surprised why I haven't been able to achieve Science Victory using the Civ when it has the additional benefits to science. it's kind of funny how my first victory ever was a science victory and I'm actually playing the Aztecs that time lol =)
science victory with Aztecs - turn 330-ish on the lowest difficulty. yeah, I'm still a total noob on this. one thing I noticed, I somehow always got the cultural victory first on the later playthroughs.
Welcome to the dark side. Now I am writing boring stories in my Cesspit. If I weren't doing that, I'd be playing that too! Each game lasts for several hours.
330 turns was fast though. I had a Technological Victory at 370+ turns out of 500. Warlord difficulty. Wu Zetian.

BUMP.
So, any videogames story that really caught your eye and stuck to you?
this was mine

Start at 2:47.
Sadly, the rest of the other MGS games lacked this kind of scene in the games. The opponents one would fight would no longer be like them and might as well be ripoffs (Pyro Byson/The Fury, Marrionette/Vamp, an obligatory unnecessary female character somewhere, Psyco Mantis/Fortune).
What was the gender of the person Solid Snake killed?
One or two Japanese visual novels had a storyline that caught my eye. I don't really play RPGs but Mass Effect was rather entertaining story wise.
Last Tuesday night, long after I had gone to bed, total strangers burst into my house yelling †˜Happy New Year!’, and shook me from a deep sleep.
Actually, they didn’t. But they might as well have done. Instead, total strangers near where I live thought it fun to let off fireworks which sounded, in turn, like landmines and an anti-aircraft barrage.
Sleep was impossible from 11.30 till 12.30.
I think I am falling in love with whoever wrote this.
