If I want to support the fucking artist, I'll do so on my own conditions, and with my own money given to them in Japan.
Well, now you can't, because they have the power to license all the stuff unless you pay them, complaining and moaning like a bitch wouldn't budge them.

Anime in the west barely makes any money now, in Japan. What makes you think publishing adult manga in the western countries will actually support artists like ShindoL, Meme50, Tosh, etc?
I never said it would, I just think from Wanimags's perspective. They want to make more money. So what is wrong with that?

What makes you think that Fakku will actually thrive long enough? What makes you think that things will get better from here on out? Just cause he spews some shit
I don't care what happens to Fakku. I'm here because I like foruming. If Fakku was shot down, I'll just go somewhere else.

And for your information, I have donated to scanlators. And I have supported artists. But I did so after sampling their works, and I made sure I purchased them off of actual japanese sites.
Good job! Well done! You deserve a medal!

Do you honestly think scanlators will actually continue scanlating freely? They were allowed to cause of Sadpanda. Hell, just recently the Lusty Lady Project got a dmca notice. What makes you think that this change will allow scanlators to do what they enjoy freely?
Thing is mate, you're thinking from scanlators' point of view. And what they are doing is indeed a copyright violation anyway. It's written in the law, what are you/they can do about it, when clearly they know they are breaking the law? Unless they can come up with something good to keep what they are doing with the law off their back, this kind of shit will always happen, and it's their job to deal with it

Fuck off with your "business perspective" bullshit. There's no money to be made for the actual artists.
Again, I never said I saw this from ARTIST PERSPECTIVE. You said it, it's a business perspective.
