Project-H Print & Digital Quality?

Not to mention how disappointed I was when I held the sealed book in hands and wondered why it was so thin. Opened it and got the answer in form of the crappy paper quality...
I just hope that "Stop Quibbling About Love" and "Sweet Dreams" will get better paper. Ot they make a new kickstarter and I can pledge for some high quality versions of some books. Or Jacob finally buys Project H and we get all their books with the fakku treatment....

I haven't had much free time to post anything recently in terms of comparison if anyone wanted to still see but the quality is pretty bad IMO. I'm getting pretty disappointed with all the money spent for such a difference in quality and then to not have a digital copy included in that price (that could just me being spoiled from Fakku releases) but all these project H purchases recently are becoming a regret. I was planning on buying Stop Quibbling About Love but haven't yet because of the quality dip.

Has by any chance somebody purchased the most recent physical project h releases, "Sweet Dreams" and "PRETTY MANGAKA & HER SLUTTY ASSISTANTS" and can say something about the (paper) quality of this books?

Ya, I picked those up a month or two back (if that counts as most recent). Both are the same quality is Stop Quibling (more news papery). Even Girls Shock is the same. Trembling Lips was on the thin side, but the paper seemed better quality, more like Fakku.

Oh Project-H... sigh...

They told me Stop Quibling was shipping july.... why would i pre order a later version on amazon... oh wait it was cheaper... like half the price with free shipping... meh.

Dang, more disappointing news. I saw your other thread about their state of affairs at the moment and this just sucks. Thanks for letting us know about these releases at least. I hope FAKKU can license rescue some of their stuff if they ever go under, or at least gain a contract with some of the artists that seem to be exclusive with them at the moment.

I should also note, their digital files are still shit for everything I have besides the Mizuryuland doujins and Deep Stalker. Either they did not have the better assets or they couldn't be fucked to upgrade them since I last contacted them... back when Rebecca was still there. It really sucks for Yamatogawa to be in such a low resolution as x1200. Their Twitter has also been pretty dead the past few weeks, so getting a hold of them is becoming increasingly difficult.

I think it's time for a Game of Thrones like walk of shame for the whole project-h team...

Ugh this is frustrating... I've already got See Me after class Vol 1, Ring x Mama Vol 1 and 2, Velvet kiss 1 and 2, and Love on the Job Vol 1. I wouldn't mind buying the rest even if their paper quality is shit and I really want to finish the collections but they're really driving me bonkers with their prices. Charging 17.95 for each volume and no bargain deals or sales?

Also, it seems like Rightstuf doesn't even want to carry Project-H anymore. Seems like they're trying to sell what's left of their stock but they seem to always have FAKKU books in stock which obviously says something is going on or even Rightstuf knows just how shitty Project-H has become.

For what it's worth, when they put up their first tweet from what hiatus they were on from twitter, I sent them a message asking if they planned any releases anytime soon. I finally got a response today saying that they plan on putting a new release schedule up in two weeks!

The last few orders I placed with them though has turned me off of ordering, what with the poor paper quality. I'm thinking about asking if they plan on upping the quality but I feel like I wouldn't get a reply if I did ask that. It's pretty frustrating.

Did anyone ever get a physicial Stop Quibbling About Love from project h because it's been moved to jan 8 now and Trembling Lips also on my pre order amazon. Girl's shock still has the end of this month still.

I ordered it from the german amazon site and got the same notifications for both books. Wasn't a nice start in the day...

I took a risk today and ordered books from Projec-H because of their 15% discount. I needed to finish the rest of the Yamatogawa collecetion but I also added the rest of the Yuzuki N dash books as well. I really wanted Stop Quibbling about love and bought it as well but I did make sure to read your comments about it as well about the paper quality. I'm definitely putting my last faith in Project-H with this purchase.... well maybe not... I really want the Mizuryu kei MC academy doujins..... :p

Quit squabbling isn't coming out until January though?

Awhile back I saw it was out of stock or something but I made my order today and it seems like its in stock right now on their main site.

Post it when you get it, because my pre order was in jan 21 for a feb 29 release which was push back to july and now january.

Sure. But if I get a notice too about it being delayed till January I'm gonna cancel my entire order and get a refund. No way in hell I'm going to give more money to these guys if they run their business like that. These guys are on thin ice with me and everyone on this forum as it is.

I was at AX this weekend and stopped by the Project-H booth. They had some pretty good deals in there and they only got better by the day, with what stock remained of course.

Surprisingly, they had the Kickstarter edition (one with dust jacket and slightly higher quality pages) of Vanilla Essence (Yamatogawa) in their booth, which I got for only $15. I was also able to get Ane-Koi Elder Sister Love (Yuzuki N') for the same price that day. The paper quality on both of those are great and worth the price.

I got Girl's Shock (Inu) as well for $15, though that has a bit more newspaper-y feeling paper. Pages are a slightly gray-ish white and have a slight gritty texture compared to the smooth ones of the other two. I was hoping to find another Yuzuki N' book, One Kore Sweet Sister Selection, but sadly they were either out of stock by the time I got to the booth on day 2 or had no stock for it at AX.

On day 4 I noticed they had a special of $10 for all books and if you bought 5 you got one more free, but I had already got the main books I was looking for and did not want to add any more weight to my luggage by that point to check anything they had left out lol.

Has Quit squabbling there?

Yeah, I saw it there in the booth, though I have that on order from Amazon for less so I held off.
