The score is low for a number of reasons. Hence my use of "dirty" in description
Not using autocollect
Bombing so much spellcard bonuses became rare at the end
Not knowing how to use cherry or whatever that supernatural border thing is
Maxing out lives to start with lowers the per stage score by 80% too

Do you think PCB has a really slow control system compared to newer games? Moving around feels slow compared to UFO for example. The custom.exe thing lets you control input sensitivity. I had it at 200 when doing the mentioned Sakuya run and died all over the place. Normally I have it at 800 and up 1000 depending on character in IN. Either way, I turned PCB up to 800 and played with vpatch (first time using it) then the 1cc happened. Did you have a similar experience with PCB at first?

Yes. Immortality is what every masochist desires.
I can relate to using the maximum lives available, but not using auto-collect is just like asking for a huge slap to your face.



I suppose it's just that newer games look smoother with more fluid animations than the oldies. To be honest, I didn't even realize the difference at first. If you want a longer explanation: My ancient-apocalyptic-analysis deduces that Reimu took a diet after finishing PCB.

Tried to 1cc PCB with normal life count just before, but Yuyuko slaughtered me with her last non-spellcard. More than 3 months no danmaku and more than half a year no PCB really affect my overall performance, though I felt like my precision went up by a level.

However, I still don't like Sakuya's Private Square. Positioning myself so I can shoot at the bosses properly is such a chore, especially against psychopath like Merlin ξ・∀・）. This is a good chance for me to better myself.

You never told me to 'hold my horses'...

I don't know if it'll make sense, but I'm busy trying to keep my sanity as my mind slowly descends into the pit of insanity. The way I feel right now, I don't really want to get into anything... discussion on it or whatever.

And I don't know about you, but I'm going to start with Yuyuko, then Lily, Chen, Prismriver, Youmu, Letty, and finally Alice.

You're right, it doesn't make sense. I take it as you are just tired and not in the mood to do anything, which is actually normal. It's not that I want to shoo you away from here, but why don't you take a rest for awhile? Two-last-days rule will help to rectify your lack of submissions during days-off.

You know... I'm going to 1cc PCB tomorrow with Sakuya, even if it takes me all day... WOW, I am tired... I'm starting to sound arrogant... But even if it did take me until Monday, I would still have 7 days to post all of the screen shots... Getting to and beating Youmu isn't a problem... it's getting to and beating Yuyuko that's the problem...

Which one of your statement does sound arrogant? Being confident or ambitious doesn't always fall in that category. Well, since you are also assigned to Sakuya, I were expecting you to share your experience against the bosses, like Merlin or Yuyuko. Save it till you feel better though. This was far more fun than with Reimu. Marisa just kills everything so quickly its almost like melting butter over a flame.
That last picture tells a bit of lie btw. I had 3 lives to start the reblossom card, realized that, then became lazy.

Merlin is one of the PrismRivers right? The spells that are common to stage 4 aren't so bad. The ones specific to your character can be nasty. Is it one of the specific ones you are referring to?

And all but one of your images are wrong. Go back and look at the submission picture example.

Yep, Merlin ξ・∀・） alone is actually an even greater threat than Prismriver Sisters as a whole for me. Given that Sakuya's Private Square is only useful for defensive purpose, I had a real hard time to damage bosses with only Sakuya's bad shooting-type. That, or I'm just not used to it yet.

BiBi's Yuyuko screenshot is good.

You do know that you can change which Prismriver Sister you face? During that time they come together before the final health bar, whichever Sister you deal the most damage to will be the one you face. This is only hypothetical though. Nope, tis a fact now. I was successfully able to switch between any of the Prismriver Sisters during the time when they come together before the final bar of life.


And I'm surprised you didn't crack down on BiBi's submission like you did mine...

Honestly, I don't and I've never really heard of it. May I have proof or source?
