Are there succubi in Gensokyo? Regardless of their existence, both should count as youkai right? In biological terms its: plants, animals, youkai, bacteria, protists.I'm assuming Koakuma is a Succubus due to the head wings, just like Morrigan and Lilith (Darkstalkers). But I just looked it up again and nothing specific has been stated by ZUN... so I'll just continue assuming that Koa is a Succubus.

Makai is said to host demons, and Sariel is an angel of death, so it wouldn't be too far-fetched to believe Succubi exist. The youkai of Gensokyo are classified into separate races, and devils are one of them.

The dub itself is pretty good, but some of the voices do not fit well, Sanae and Yukari should have a slightly deep tone of voice, while for Sakuya and Patchy; the choice was appropriate, especially for the 2nd.You think Sanae's VA is a bit lacking? I personally love her voice; seemingly childish, high-spirited, and traditional sound good enough to represent her casual appearance.

Aside from the last line, Zufibbit has answered the question about Succubus in Gensokyo correctly.
While the idea of having Shinki featured in the future installments is possibly beyond the horizon, I'm actually interested to see Makai explored deeper than what's written in the official literature so far. Assuming PC-98 continuity isn't entirely shrugged off, it would be interesting for either Yuuka or Alice to participate as playable characters due to their past relation with Makai.

I thought you were going to play the Touhou-copycat first? Seeking for originality in danmaku would be as difficult as finding the same thing from FPS games nowadays. If memory serves me right, the worst problem I had when trying that Touhou-copycat for Android was the lack of responsive controls. Did you have the same problem with those two?

Need to correct what I said though, I probably played the game via my sister's iPhone.
Danmaku Death doesn't look like a game that my phone could handle however. Try this game if you have a phone to spare, Magical Cannon Girls. Mein phone couldn't handle the gravity this game provided.

However, I still think that you better advertise your work more in some Touhou-oriented places to earn more (backup) readers. Since you want people to read your baby, there shouldn't be a 'too many readers' problem for you.

I think that depends a lot on how you ngo about sharing it, ad in which section you chose to do it - I doubt they're that much of a stick in the mud as long as the content is touhou-ish.

In the meantime, I gained a taste for Mamizou's theme as well as Byakuren's theme/stage theme, or rather, arranges of them.
