From the last trip in TD easy mode, I find myself having a hard time to adapt with Normal. It appears that the strategy I've been using in easy mode is useless, or perhaps too risky. What can I say, I tried normal just some minutes ago and I died at mostly 2nd stage and 3rd stage, even with lower scores than the ones I did in easy.
Does anybody feel the same?
If you all desire it, I can delay the beginning of normal round by two days, 29th June to be exact. Of course, I will extend the deadline by 2 days as well. Perhaps we can use the '2 days free' as the chance to share knowledge or trying to adapt with normal mode or maybe dealing with something IRL? I'm aware that every participant has their own life, so we can consider this '2 days free' as a break as well. Rushing it won't give you a good fruit after all.

Normal mode can be irritating like that. It gets better if you are equally persistent. I don't mind having a couple of extra days to play normal without Reimu. I've been relying a bit too much on homing amulets recently.

I don't know about you but I'm playing through the normal mode just fine. Sure I needed some time to adapt the scoring strategy, but it doesn't really give me a hard time.
Oh yes, a delay please. Can always use those 2 days free. The club could also use a break too, I guess.

I didn't say anything about you need to 1cc it or score a tremendously high-score, Haru. We all play it for fun, some intend to improve themselves during the process, and the rest want to be competitive. It's just up to how you interpret it, but what you need to know is that score ain't everything, just do your best and score the best you can do.
I believe some of us, including me, here are ready to help if you ever need any. Please feel free to ask if you're having problem in anything; if we can, then we will help. Just like what I said to BiBi, let's be better together.

Nah it was never my intention to aim for the top, i play as i alwais do, i only said that some extra time for train was nice.

You could have asked us for some tips. I was wondering where did you go yesterday.
On that note, Sanae is probably the hardest to use in TD. Her shooting-type and grazing are very unfriendly, it's recommended to use her for the lowest stage screenshot if you have yet to master her.

mm yesterday i had my time to play for the entry, starting with Youmu, and it actually gone quite good since i arrived to Miko.
After i was done with her i found out that i didn't have enough time for a run with the others so i gave up, also because i played for long and was tired.
So... well...TIME FOR NORMAL

I used her for Highscoring in the Double Desires though =D
For me Youmu is a bit harder to master~

Just a suggestion, Youmu and Marisa are your best bets for scoring due to their capability to interrupt enemies before they position themselves. Marisa's strongest attribute is her speed, but she still posses' enough strength to make Reimu and Sanae drown in shame. On the other hand, Youmu's speed is good, yet still in no way comparable to Marisa's. But to compensate that, Youmoe's strength far surpasses the others. Her powerful focused attack may need times to control, but if used properly, it can kill a spellcard phase within only 3-5 executions, thus making Youmu efficient in both scoring and survivability.
About trance in scoring run, I personally prefer Marisa's due to the precision. Youmu's shooting type in trance is way too powerful, wide, yet so short.
