I just ended up moving my bed for like the 20th time. lol.

I was in a Magic tournament for most of today. I was ranked third, with a deck I thought was terrible xD.
In fact, all of my friends occupied the top tables! It was sweet~ =D

It was a lot of fun. But today was just the sort of casual tourney. A slightly bigger one is tomorrow. I hope I can do well in that one, lol. xP

I have a sort of blessing/curse that whenever a deck tests poorly, it does great at tournaments, when it matters, lol. Not that I'm being superstitious, but I'm actually switching decks for that tourney, because I know the one I ran today still seems pretty bad, but having now practiced quite a bit with it, isn't as bad as I thought, lol.

I don't care about wining most of the time in card games it's all about the fun of it and trying to make some really nice decks.

Is there anything for getting 1st in it?

Well, the deck I played today was just for fun, really. It has some level of competitiveness to it, but for the most part, it's just fun to play. I just got a lot of good draws today, and my opponents ended up unlucky many times... =P
The deck I'm using tomorrow is STILL a just for fun deck, but now that I know what people in that store are playing, I feel like it has a good shot at topping, since it's also a deck meant to counter those decks.

The winner gets an exclusive Champion playmat that you cannot get any time other than Game Day, which there will be two during the weekend.

Lol, that's how I always do it. Sure, the "better" decks win more often, but I need to be able to enjoy myself during the match. Some of the top decks in M:tG are ridiculously boring, lol. I try to be as competitive as possible, but I'd also like to have the maximum amount of fun. It's why I play the game so religiously. =)

It does, since, for one: they're exclusive. Two: They're really awesome looking. If you wanted to buy one of these (which kills the excitement of winning it for yourself, lol), they're really expensive considering how few exist.

[color=#ff69b4]Yeah that how I feel in most card games. Like in hearthstone I could run a miracle rogue deck, but it's boring and I don't have the cards for it anyways. I like to see what I can make and see how much fun I can have with the deck before I stop using it and move on.

Yeah, whatever you find to be most fun and consistent is how you should go about building decks.
That said, I usually don't jump around with decks like this, I actually try to stay devoted to one deck as long as possible. The more repetitions I get with a deck, the better my play gets, and I'm much faster with the motions. It's just that in this case, there were two decks really wanted to try, and happened to have most of the cards for both of them, lol. xD

Yeah, not having the cards is a big restriction. Thankfully, I have friends who are willing to loan me cards, and I often have enough money to buy a few cards I'm missing. I had to buy about one-fourth of the deck I played today.
