Here's a similar problem:
My neighbor down the street has an old shitty Honda with an even shittier-sounding muffler attached to it. Every night he will come back home for about a minute then immediately leave and come back 5-10 minutes later and repeat this for a couple times with varying times in between and he usually does this with his buddy who has a similar-sounding pos car. It really starts to drive you crazy and I'm sure the neighbors are going crazy too. My dad and I have pondered this and we're thinking of shoving some non-flammable cotton in his muffler or spraying some of that The Good Stuff foam in it. He's a highschool kid so I doubt he'd listen to reason and his father just doesn't care.
What you guys think?
