i spend some time to learn some basic phrases and those that you'll often use like those examples above before i go to a country....
and i always bring a pocket travelers dictionary of the countries i'll go....
so i rarely had any language barrier....

but i gotta admit i'm lucky because i'm always good with language....
i pick up languages fast....

worst safety aspects:i never came across any crime in my trips,but people say that palestine and israel.if you can hear explosions every 10 minutes or so,the safety aspects must be bad.
