You know, as bad as meatspin is, it hasn't ruined the song for me. I like all the versions, even the original from Dead or Alive which pretty much screamed "GAY" in like a big neon word bubble like in some of the old Batman movies. I like Orgy's version the best. Orgy is fucking awesome to begin with, they did great covers, like Blue Monday, and came up with some great music like Opticon, Fiction, and Stitches.

Absolutely not. I do not believe that an avatar affects a person's opinion of such person in question. After all, people associate an avatar with a person's name and his post content. The two are often quite different.

You are incorrect. It definitely does. Unlike your real life name or appearance, your forum avatar is something that you explicitly choose to represent you. Thus it is something that can be used to somewhat accurately gauge your personality and likes/dislikes.

now, we're looking at personal preferences again, different people have different opinions on this matter, some want to choose that avatar to represent themselves acutally(like me), lots just wanna have fun, others may want to use the avatar to represent who they really wanna be, but in reality, contradicting to their selves.

Then let me say this then; I don't judge people by first glance, even if it says a lot, especially over the internet where I don't know who the heck you are. Since people don't always put everything up as an indicator of their character, quoting Nate River, and this is the internet, I don't take things like avatars for face value and I take everything with a grain of salt. You never know when someone is telling the truth unless you've interacted with the person in some way or for some length of time.

Now, your avatar shows Fate/Stay Night with Rider and Sakura in sexy poses and in a love room of sorts. From that, that can tell me you're a harem-loving guy, a guy who has one crazy sex libido, a guy who likes pink, a guy who likes Fate/Stay Night, a guy who likes Rider and Sakura. Guess what? I bet none of those assumptions I made are true, even if one or two of them are. Plus, I just responded to you today, and I have not read your other replies, so I have nothing to base you on. Also, avatars only hint at the most superficial stuff, like what you things do you like, or emulate, etc. etc... does not say much about your character as a person, unless people actually choose to be more open about it, which ain't often.

Bottom line is that avys don't really show the kind of person you really are since it's not enough, especially on the net where people can make things up and you can never know that.

I enjoy harem animes, and while I don't regularly engage in group sex, I almost always have lots of girls on "stand-by" for whenever I need.

I do enjoy sex a lot, and usually have a lot, so much so that I actually turn it down occasionally if I'm not in the mood.

It's actually purple I like, not pink, and it is my favorite color.

Sorry to tell you, humans are designed to use historical data to make judgements of potential future occurances. I get sick of so many people saying "oh but I don't judge people on first impressions and looks alone".

BS, everyone does it, subconsciously or consciously. It's how we are wired, and no one believes that you're a unique snowflake and so incredibly open-minded that somehow you don't do it AT ALL.

From this post, I can also tell you don't read other people's post closely either. I mentioned I don't judge people on first glance, but I did mention that first glance does say a lot, which should tell you that yes, even I am inclined to have so and so opinions about this person, but until I have talked to the person and get to know this person better, I reserve my judgment and keep my expectations low. Another point to address would be if your avatar actually indicates anything about you in person. Does it say anything about your persona? How are people supposed to know that you like such and such based on your avatar? And again, I must stress that avatars do not reveal much about a person for various reasons Nate river mentioned. There's too much bogus on the net for me to actually connect your avatar to your persona.

Granted, and I know I'm wrong on this, people do judge people by first glance, but it doesn't mean people act on it either. You having a sexy avatar does not prevent from having a serious discussion because, what, I think you're a person with a sex drive? That's ridiculous. This is the net... I don't place my full trust in it. On forums, I go by post content, not by avatar images since your posts say something about you in concrete that a picture can never do, especially when there is no basis in connecting an avy to a person's character.
