Common interests, good conversations, fresh ideas, loyalty, attraction, compatibility, and luck is all you kinda need for starting a relationship and keeping it for the a bit. Then money and all that crap comes in after a while.

Dude. It's life. You can't control others free will [for the most part] so you need to be able to brace yourself for this like this. It's happened a bunch of times to me and I always found my way through it. And honestly some girls are just bitches like that. They get tired of one guy and without even considering the their current guys feeling or considering his past action/attitude they'll dump him on his ass and find some one else. Sometimes there isn't a good reason. What you say you are doing is right, so keep it up.



Unfortunately this is very true. I've dated multiple girls a when I didn't have a job, therefore I had to scrounge to afford dates [and gifts]. It was pathetic.

You gotta have a little mystery. Someone who is too nice and transparent comes across as boring. Everyone loves a challenge. Not to say you have to be an asshole, but take your time. Don't profess love so easily. Don't tell them your secrets so easily. Ask good questions and let them give their answers. You'll find this works a lot better.
