Halloween Costumes

I walked into the newly opened Halloween store like every year to purchase a costume. But what do I see? Costumes that'll either show my ass or make me look ridiculously stupid.

I'm sure it was the same last year, but that was when I was alright with showing my ass to everyone. In a movie called "Mean Girls" one of the girls was describing Halloween. She said it was the one day of the year that a girl could dress as a total slut and no other girl could say anything about it. It's so very true, and so very nauseating. I don't like being a girl that blends in. I don't want to dress as every other girl and wear a costume that is basically a very short dress with tulle to poof out at the bottom. Oh! I forgot that it is accompanied with thigh highs like so:

Yes, I'm sure to you guys it is very attractive for a girl to wear that. I agree completely. I felt hot when I wore costumes like that.

My question is...

Do you think less of the girls who wear those costumes? Or do you think it's simply attractive and that it's perfectly fine?

I like looking at them, sure, but I have a terrible opinion. I would much rather talk to a girl dressed as a stormtrooper or something less slutty, yeah?

Side note- hate most Halloween outfits now, WTF happened to the true meaning of Halloween!? Your suppose to be scary, not a F*ucking fairy princess from the rainbow land of lollipops!

Honestly on Halloween, to me, it's the day everyone can wear whatever the heck they want. However it shouldn't turn into an excuse to dress up as a skank fest because nobody would say a thing, resulting in a certain someone getting swarmed by a crowd of horny semi-drunken college students. Alas the attention whore has gotten what she wanted.

Last Halloween I saw GUYS wearing that sort of costume, now that's Halloween. Seeing somebody wear something I really didn't want to see, but because they did wear it it's awesome.

I wouldn't really give a damn what they dress up like, as long as it isn't for "specific" reasons.

It depends. If I already have a low opinion on someone wearing such attire, whatever, she's a bitch anyways, suits her. If it's someone I know and cool with, it be more of a shock. Then again, times are changing and so are the fashions for Halloween costumes. There's not much I can do about it.

I definitely think it's attractive, i would not think less of a person simply based on their clothing.

It really depends on the costume.
Bunny suit = Slut
Tifa Cosplay = Hot
Disney Characters = Slut
Simca = Hot

So basically, anime related costumes = Hot, but onyl if the girl wearing it is attractive. Also, the quality of the costume also matters.

Halloween is pretty suspicious anyway, you go to people's houses and ask for free candy. You might just get a napkins full of chloroform and being sold off to rich fat bastards who can only get laid with money.

I DEFINITELY think less of girls in revealing costumes. They could be perfectly lovely people, but I'm so sick of seeing cliche "sexy" costumes all over campus. Also, the more clothes you wear, the less dumbasses will hit on you, giving you more time to enjoy your night. (ex: last year I dressed as Lara Croft on friday, Jessica Rabbit on saturday and "Baberaham Lincoln" on sunday. Guess which night I had the most fun.)

I don't have the body for sexier outfits and the costume selections are almost impossible to find a non revealing outfit. Last year I went to a halloween party my friend was throwing and I just made my own.

I had a long black hippy skirt I never wore and tattered it up, threw on a black shirt, went to the fabric store and got sheer ice blue fabric and tore it in strips to bobby pin to my hair (curly and I sprayed it a similar blue color) took eye shadow and used it as face paint to make me look -really- white and blue under my eyes and on my lips. I have to say I did a pretty good job.

the remaining fabric I draped over me and made sleeves so it was a cape/sleeve thing.

But I'm not real big into the costume thing, I only did that because my friend said everyone had to dress up.

I personally think the nurse or maid costumes are rediculous. Any girl who wears them might as well just hold a sign "Fuck Me in the ass"

I like creative costumes.

Like, one chick cut up a bunch of old clothes and put makeup all over it to make it look dirty and went as a 'homeless girl'. She DID look slutty but I was amused. She was set apart from the typical slut-costumes and it was funny (she also looked really pretty for a homeless chick). People actually gave her money, by the end of the night she had around 20 dollars in change. Hah.

I don't have the confidence to walk around half naked in front of everyone. I mean, some costumes are just so short that when the chick bends over you see everything. That's a bit too much for me.

It frustrates me that I have no guy eye-candy for Halloween. I want some hot guys dressed up as half-naked firemen or something along those lines. That'd be awesome.
