Oh man reminds me of this one girl I wanted to date. We both had at least a mild interest in each other, but this was my Senior year, by which time I wasn't trying to go for a fling I was ready to potentially be in a long-term relationship with someone. However, she was very much for physically disciplining children, and I'm not. You just can't go around and slap your kids anymore, especially in public. All it takes is one parent to file a complaint and Child Services will take your children away. I even tried talking to her about that (not with my interest in dating her long-term in mind,) but she is/was fervent about it.

You just can't go smack, slapping and beating your children. -_-

There's a difference between smack/slap/beating your kids and spanking them. I was spanked as a child and I freaking learned my lesson for it. The thing about spanking is the older they get the less you have to do it, because they LEARN. You yell at a kid and soon they starts to realize it's empty threats. As long as the kid doesn't have anything other than a red ass then there isn't actually anything anyone can do about it.

Unfortunately that is to the contrary. There doesn't have to be physical, left-over harm on a child for it to be reported. In the U.S. it is very easy to get your child taken away for even just smacking them in the middle of a supermarket.

Although I am a bit homophobic. I wouldn't want my kids to be gay, I admit that. Now I'm not saying gay people should be killed or anything barbaric like that. People can do whattever they want. They're nothing to me, so why should I care what other people do. In fact, I know some people who are gay and it doesn't bother me at all. As long as they don't go all outgoing and telling me what lotion is best to use on their ass, it's fine.

Me, I used to get a lot of spanking whenever I did something bad, but you learn fast that way.

As a child my discipline was a smack on the backside or the hand, then when my mother bought a paddle brush (hairbrush with a square back, very wide and evil) she smacked us with that so she didn't hurt her hand

id make them go cut their own switch so I can beat them with it... that's both a psychological and physical punishment... if they come back with some horse shit small one i get out something bigger.

in reality, I simply believe a spanking in private is the biggest deterrent around, I didn't even need to be hit, when they would miss me just the though of the spank was enough for me to stop fucking around. God bless my parents, they turned me into the hard motherfucker you see here today.

I don't think you always have to hit a child, you can discpline them and not make empty threats without physical punishment. Of course, I am not against anyone spanking their child.

Actually, I myself hate kids. They are loud, obnoxious, annoying and just straight up fucktards.

I, however, love my nephew. He is the greatest fucking baby. So cool.

I hate other peoples kids, but when it comes to my family, I can't help but love em. So whenever I see some bratty ass kid, I just think "Goddamn, become better parents."

I'm still pretty serious about punching them in the face.

My three year old cousin keeps thinking that my green cast is a ghost 0-0 little guy won't even come near me let alone let me give him a hug or something*sighs* crazy little bastard hahaha

I like kids. I honestly can't wait to be a father myself, and my girlfriend feels the same way. Sadly I'm not in good enough financial standing right now support us and a child, though I am working on changing that. I use to go to a local orphanage to entertain the kids every other week, and I baby sit my baby cousin for free.

I also baby sit for free and volunteered at a day care center for two years and now I wanna be a child development teacher ^_^ To get back to the main question dealing with kids isnt quite too hard it really does require a lot of patience I'm glad I managed to learn that skill.

im good with kids within a certain age range like 5-7 cus then they should be at least intelligent to understand wat im saying but simple minded enough to be entertained easily

Eh once in a while i find a kid that's actually decent. like once my lil cousin came over ( well i think he was my cousin at least ) he was like 8 or 9 and i was playing something i think it was gta4 or halo or something and he was interested in the game so i let him play for a while and well yeah so he wasn't so bad.

However with the Loud,Annoying and Pissy Kids i just try to keep them as busy as possible so they don't go tearing through all of my stuff. Like i remember once my friend's lil sister came over and was messing around with my guitar and got a 4 inch scratch across it. so that really pissed me off.
well i just let them watch tv or let them play my vid games or something.
