How old to have sex

well, in terms of today's society, id say having sex at a later age would be more advantageous as it lessens the risk of getting your entire life fucked all over you (13 year old father anyone?)

But in terms of biological advantage, ive heard that the child is healthiest when the mother gives birth at a younger age =X so i dont really know where that line would be drawn.

That's part of the big joke of life. If a woman wants to have a lot of freedom, she can't have children while young ( 25 or younger), but it's a lot easier/better to have a child at a younger age, for the mother and the child. All you can do is laugh and think, "Life's funny, isn't it?"

I say 17. It's not quite 18 yet but it also isn't 16 either.

Everybody knows it's impossible to have sex until you're 30 and have the proper license.

Though I guess I can't talk, seeing as how I had sex, or, I guess as The Jesus put it, "fucked", at 13. And no, I am not bragging about it. Not like it meant anything, anyway.

some have lost their virginity at 12, like most girls. dont ask me how or why, but i mean a lot of girls that are in their 20's now that i know have lost their virginity or ahd a sexual experience at an age that we would consider statchitory rape (i think that is how it is spelled, correct me if wrong). i think the age of consent should be 16, provided that you ahve taken a legal test proving you are mentally mature enough to have sex. any younger then 16 is just wrong i think. 17 is compromising, but anything below 16 is not compromising.

who the fuck are the sickos voting for 13-15? I understand Chef's logic of being 17 is the right age to start having sex, but I still voted 18.

I imagine those people are thinking that since a lot of people already have sex at 13, 14, and 15, it should just be legal. Or they're from countries where the legal age is 13-15, of which there are quite a few.

I'd say let's keep it at 18. Most people are mentally ready to have sex at that age.

Though some posts say that at the age of 14 or 15 kids should be ready to HAVE SEX (and yes, I lost my virginity around that age), but they're not ready to BE A PARENT. Rubbers don't always help.
