LUCKY STAR SUCKS (IMO)

Well I know most people here luv Lucky Star. I watched the 1st 3 episode a few months ago & I hav 2 say I was bored out of my fucking mind. I know im probably gonna get alot of -rep 4 this, (but with -18 dou think I really care)that was what was originally keeping me from making this topic, But i fucking luv lucky channel thats me shit right there but. seriously did i not watch enough episodes. does it get better or what. Well I guess i`ll rap it up

The first few episodes were kinda boring, it gets better as it goes on, provided you like slice of life-animes.

i think this post is more about negative rep points than how (HOW) lucky star sucks

r u srs, the 1st 10 min. of the first episode was about different ways 2 eat some kind of jappenesse cake. the only reson i made it 2 3 episodes was because how good everyone else said it was.

Slice of life and parody animes don't make sense to some people.
For Lucky Star, if you don't know much about Japanese culture and their high school stuff, you probably won't enjoy it as much as ones who do understand that kinda stuff.
btw, the director (or whatever) of the show changes after first few episodes

Actually I just started watching it a few days ago. I'm watching episode 14 right now.

I still believe that it as the best opening theme ever.

Lucky Star is a good anime. Not great or amazing just good. Likeable characters, calming plot and episodes, fucking addictive opening. Just a good all rounder. But if you can't stay focused for more then 10 seconds with explosions and tits and ass in your story then it's definitely not going to appeal to some.

the first time i tried to watch the first episode of it i stopped 10 mins into cuz i was sooo bored....but then i gave it another chance and made it to the end and i just cant take it...i dont really mind slice of life anime or manga(sometimes that makes it better)but imo it was horrible...

Can't explain why, but I love Lucky Star!! I could especially watch the first few episodes over and over (and have done so on numerous occasions) Slice of Life stuff always gets me.

I'm in two minds about posting in this thread.

On one hand I do want to put my point across but on the other hand I think Hinata`s Pimp AKA lil`Von is a little too harsh about hating Lucky Star so much and doesn't really deserve to be even acknowlegded for starting this thread...not becuase of the subject matter but because of the "I hated this, so fuck all of you" attitude that comes through in that first post.

That aside though, I have to say that I couldn't get into this series at all.

I loved Azumaga Daioh and Ichigo Mashimaro so I thought this one would be right up my street but it wasn't. I think it was something about the machine gun, constant barage of lines that poured of the of the main character that put me off...but I'm not sure.

Anyway, just my thoughts...and I hope Hinata`s Pimp AKA lil`Von learns to chill a little.
