Very interesting. Haven't really played around with infect cards at all, so really don't know about deck composition for infect decks.
Did build one today though using iMTG via my iPhone. Thoughts on this? :
30 Lands -
4x Woodland Cemetery
4x Inkmoth Nexus
12x Swamp
10x Forest
24 Creatures -
1x Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon
3x Reaper of the Sheoldred
2x Hand of the Praetors
3x Phyrexian Crusader
3x Whispering Specter
4x Plauge Stinger
4x Flensermite
4x Glistener Elf
23 Spells -
1x Mutilate
2x Lure
2x Rancor
2x Glistening Oil
3x Withstand Death
3x Gruesome Deformity
3x Dispise
3x Fog
4x Go for the Throat
Side board -
4x Autumn's Veil
4x Surgical Extraction
4x Doom Blade
4x Naturalize
As nice as it looks, 30 lands is A LOT. Infect is usually fast, and even control infect's mana curve isn't that high. As you noticed, mine only ran 20 land, and another I have only has 18 since its so low.
That being said, black has the more expensive spells in infect... Only ever played Green, Blue, and Artifact Infect.
Anyways, it's solid to me, though, I don't think those Inkmoth Nexus's are necessary in your deck. In fact, since your deck is multicolor, it may hinder you since it'll only net you colorless mana if you needed mana.
Also noticed it's an oversized deck. 77 cards? Oughta cut it down. Only two reasons I could think of for a deck over 61 cards (I know minimum is 60, but sometimes I have 61) is for a format that requires a larger deck (such as commander), or for a Battle of Wits deck (requiring at least 207 cards).
EDIT: As for your second list,
cut out the Infect if that's not the main direction you're going. Infect damage does only poison damage, and no regular damage. Otherwise some of your creatures will be going only for your opponents life total while the others try to poison him. Neither help each other in making the opponent become closer to death.
EDIT2: You could actually go either way with that second one, I think after having a closer look, but it needs to be one or the other. Either Infect or normal damage.
