pain... our body has it... we feel it... without it we would die.... in our daily lives we experience pain, from a fist landing in your face to a limb being dismembered.... have you noticed the itchy, throbbing, annoyingly tingling sensation on the spot if you cut yourself? thats already a warning sign that our body is reacting to the cut... thats why pain makes us wary of our bodies so we should take care of them...
do you have a painful memory?
when i was still in grade 6 in elementary, i accidently stepped on a 2x4 with a long nail potruding on it... the pain wasnt over yet because when in the hospital, i was given 5 shots of medicine (anti-tetanus maybe?) and it hurt like hell... even until today this pain still lingers in my foot....
-pain; you can tolerate it, ignore it, suppress it, but it will never leave your body as long as you are still alive-
Mine won't be as bad as most, but you know thoes Big red swings they have for paralyzed kids? a few years back one of thoes got smashed into my face. Broken nose, almost needed stitches, but the doctor used Medical Glue or something like that instead.
2 weeks before hand I had run the side of my head into a tree. Not biking, running. Now I can't fit an earbud in that ear.
I was 4 years old walking with my mom and some crazy guy in a truck ran both of us over. I was hospitalized for a week with a fractured skull.
5 years old I was sleeping and some bees attacked me. I was hospitolized yet again with 8 stingers in me and I needed to get an antidote for the poison because it would have killed me. Now I fear bees.
7 years old I fell off my bike and scraped my arm very bad. Not like boo-boo bad but I was bleeding a lot but not to the point of being put in a hospital.
9 we had a stove without the metal coils and I was climbing the stove to go to the cabinet. Burned my hand.
11 I got hit by a car when I was riding my bike. Inner thigh scraped up and left leg had a minor fracture. Bike front wheel was pretty fucked up.
uh afroman.... DAMN! that is one BIG bad luck you're having... lucky you werent stung by killer honeybees because they will and i mean THEY WILL chase you...
A long time ago when I was a kid, there was this big, fat-ass neighbor of mine that likes soccer and asked me to play with him and I said yes. In the middle of the game he missed the ball and loses balance, I was right behind him at the time. He fell right on top of me and my head hit small rocks on the ground. My head received scratches as a result..
Oh and there's a time where my bike got stolen, and it was pretty expensive too..
Also, a few years ago my friend tried to learn how to ride a motorcycle and I was in the middle of playing basketball (on the streets) and I got hit pretty badly but not to the point of "ER", well he got beaten up worse than me so I visit him one time[/spoil]
There are still some small fraction of accidents when I was young, but I think its not necessary.
When I was 18 the day I graduated so retarded student went on a shooting spree. I got shot 2 times in the leg and 1 on the collar bone, luckliy the shooter didnt kill anyone but hell that was a day to remember.
Lol Graduation? Reminds me of how a guy started pickin a fight with me at Graduation in the Parking Lot. He started yellin at me about how I was hitting on his girlfriend giving her a ride and shit and I kept calm and said I've known her most of my life I'm just talkin and being nice. Hit me straight in the nose giving me a nose bleed. I went ape shit and above and beyond by doing a trip maneuver and stomped his stomach 5 times. He was unconscious for the rest for the whole ceremony.
Broke both bones in my forearm playing soccer. That wasn't that painful. It was when I went to the hospital and they had to realign the bones. So they brought in some contraption that was basically a pole with a bunch of those chinese finger traps hanging off it. They took my hanging ass forearm and stuck my fingers in there and realigned the bones. I was sweating so bad from the pain... Lol I had surgery in 2 days so I was walking around with an arm with bones that weren't connected. It felt weird when they would run against each other. :p
Since we've been asked to focus on one event, I won't go over the 15 different sets of stiches over my body. The biggest is a ruptured disc in my back. Its actually happened twice, but the first was the worst. It hit me over a weekend, thought it was a pulled muscle but it got much worse. By the time all was said and done, I couldn't stand up straight for close to 4 months. I was like an 80 year old man getting in and out of cars, standing up, etc..
Worse part...basically no sex, and if I fapped too hard, I would have back spasms that would be very painful for awhile...kinda defeated the purpose of euphoric release :(
I was 15 y/o... I was riding my bike ever so fast on a freeway... I turned on a sharp curve and I hit the brakes, unfortunately is was the front tire's brake... I flipped forward and kissed the fukkin asphalt... bloody lips and a broken nose, oh! and what a surprise, 2 missing teeth...
lesson learned - need more brain vitamins...
When my untreated case of appendicitis had to cause a rupture and I had to faint from the pain before my dumbass parents would take me to the hospital. I was pretty small back then, about nine or so, but I still remember it clearly. Bad times.
