My New MacBook

I don't agree with this. To me, Macs can do everything better than a Windows-based PC can, except gaming. It's hard to prove my point unless you guys move to a Mac too and experience it yourselves The OP didn't buy this MacBook to game anyway.

Sad enough they used to have a huge library of good games back in the day.
I remember people fighting to get into the 'Mac Lab' so we could get our hands on the games computers.
Ahhh good times.

You show me a Mac and I will show you an equally priced windows pc That I can build that is many times better than that mac.

PCs are cheaper, easier to customize, more software support, and better performance to price ratio.

The only things Macs are good for are for people who know almost nothing about computers so they let Apple bum rape them from behind.

Macs are just overpriced shiny toys.

Which is why I want one.

If you like style and the "bragging rights", then go with a Mac. But if you don't really care about the hype about it then go with a PC. I would say PC is still the best way to go for your money's worth.

As for people running Windows OS on the MAC (either with BootCamp or Parallels or VMWare Fusion), dont you think it is kind of stupid to run it there? What's the whole point of getting a Mac if you're going to run Windows on it? they might as well just stick with PCs.

It probably cost around $900, possibly more, possibly less.

However, remember his graphics card is the Intel x3100. It is weaker than the 4500HD.

Personally I don't like the plastic version of the MacBook, I would rather go with the newer aluminum unibody MacBook Pro.

I'm very happy with it so far. Obviously this GFX card is absolutely not for gaming, but I didn't buy a MacBook to game with it in the first place...

I don't personally own one, but my roommate and one of my friends has it. The cold aluminum feel is so much better than plastic. Too bad it is really expensive, really not worth it for the parts they put in it.

However, you don't need to buy a Mac to run OS X, if you have ever heard of Hackintosh, you can just buy Snow Leopard, and install it on a PC laptop.

Don't get me wrong, I am anti-apple, and I personally will refuse to buy and use any of their computers. I am only trying to be helpful to those who are in need of an apple laptop.

Why would you even bother buying Snow Leopard if you're going to install it on a hackint0sh? You may as well pirate Snow Leopard as well since you're breaking the law already. =/
