Yes, I think I can.

So, back in the day, there was a browser game called Three Kingdoms Daily that my friend had gotten me into, which took place during the Three Kingdoms era of China. When we were thinking up the character I'd play, we came up with the idea that I'd play a person from the future sent to the past to change the course of the war(A Time Enforcer). When coming up with that character's name, I consulted the MechCommander 2 Encyclopedia. Anubis was the first 'mech alphabetically. Hence, Timeenforceranubis.

Mine is the oldest user name that I remember using. Way back, playing my first online game (starcraft), joined a clan that had members using animal themed names. I was only 11 or 12, and RagedBear sounded pretty cool so I went with it.

I don't like it anymore, but I used it because it has a sort of sentimental value. And since it's not that great, I never had a problem with the name being taken. This is probably the last place I will use it, though. If I could change my name on here, I probably would.

For me, I couldn't think of a name for a while so I look at the documentary I was watching, and there pops up the subject about feral animals. After that I thought "Hey, that might work". Thus I messed around with it till I had the name I have today.

You can. Some people like Rbz and Nachbar changed their names. Just pm Jacob about it. Simple.

My nick is Maniac. Took it from Wing Commander, from character with same nickname. I liked his style.
This nick is pretty old, started using it about 10 years(soon it will be 11) ago(when i was 8 years old) still using, and plan to use in future. :)
YKT is basically short for Republic Sakha(Yakutia) or Yakutsk City, my motherland and home town. Comes from our url's (http://www.ykt.ru) i add it only when nick Maniac is occupied by someone else(damn impersonators!) :)
Also, sometimes i use nick Kage_Senshi.
Kage = Shadow
Senshi = Warrior
Made it up because "Shinobi" or "Ninja" is pretty used up by everybody else.
Previously used: Avatar(yeeeeeesh, good 'ole Ultima), Destroyer(oh shi- thats lame)
and some others.

I love the character Arcueid Brunestud from Tsukihime and melty blood so i based my name Arcuius on her.
