One of the neighbors that lived across the street from me was found dead in his house today and that's got me a little worried. We never talked much, but I could tell he was a good man.

Bad luck with buses getting home from work.
Missed one so I had to wait half an hour for another. Got to the Town Centre and I get off to change, but had to wait half an hour again. The bus I'm waiting for finally pulls up a short distance away but it only stays for a moment and pulls away as I'm walking to it. Checking the timetable I'd have had to wait another half an hour. I began seething with rage and just walked home. Walking took less time getting home than it would have done catching a bus home.

[color=#993300]So a wonderful day on the slopes gone horribly wrong. Typical run of me going off the ski lift then running down to ski down a slope I've been trying to master for the longest time. First time, everything goes ok except the fact that the snow hadn't been repacked yet so it was much like ice and difficult to kick up. Thus, I go to fast and have to force myself to wipe out to not crash into people. I go to some other slopes to work on more turning things instead of steep slopes. Come back again, and this time, it's my fault, I lose control and barrel through someone. It wasn't a bad wipe out since the slope wasn't crowded and we carried off to the side quickly. Fast apologies and we were on our way. So at this point, I'm thinking 3rd time's the charm and I go again. Next to perfect run with me effectively swerving around others, but at the end of one zig-zag (which was, mind you, at the edges of the slope so I wouldn't hit people), random skier that was standing in the middle of the slope starts moving and clips the tail of my left ski, twisting me off the slope and into the nearby forest. Best part was it was into the merger of another steep slope so I kept rolling down until a loading point. Had to walk back up to get my skis with a twisted ankle.

Well... Lime had a sort of breakdown last night... Really not a good way to Start the new year huh?
Physically she's okay. Emotionally she is a wreck. Lemon is not much better.
Their mom is an abusive bitch... And considering she is the only family (by blood anyway) those two have left...
Ugh. I have no good way of explaining things. Just know the twins are sad again mostly because of their mother and partly because of other things that are making them feel rather self-loathingly pathetic right now

Letting my till buddy down by not going to the charity shop again this week.
I've not been going lately either because I was really ill from catching manflu (fucking flu jab didn't work) or I was too tired from a busy week at work; today I woke up at noon then fell back to sleep about 4pm, then slept right round until 10.
I messaged her on Facebook the night before explaining that I did a lot of long hours this week and needed a rest, and that I'd be able to go again when my hours get reduced starting next week. But her disappointed reaction made me feel like such a prick. I hate letting people down.
