Huh. I'd like to know in what nation out there the mainstream of society thinks that fetishes are not disgusting.

Turkey. Not forbidden, just girls thinks that virginity is their dignity, honor and such. If you lost your virginity in early ages, like 17-18, people labels you as a whore. Because of that, they're scared any sexual relationships. In result, they're know nothing about this thing.

That's strange, considering in Canada, if you haven't lost it by 18, you might as well be a nun.

My question was genuine. As a resident of oh-so-liberal western europe, I personally have the feeling that the mainstream of society is very much very conservative, and that the fabled Joe Bloggs on the Clapham omnibus very much regards fetishes, no matter how innocent, as deviant and disgusting. Fits in with the fact that people are now beginning to be queried about sexual preferences in job interviews, too.
And if my media-fuelled stereotype of the U.S. is to be believed, moral liberalism when it comes to sex isn't exactly the strong point of the majority of its populace either.

I don't know if anyone remembers or was ever aware of the story about Max Mosley, president of the FIA (Formula 1 governing body). He was involved in a media frenzy and faced calls to resign from every quarter, having been spied on whilst partaking in an s&m roleplay. Just comes to mind as a good example of exactly that - conservative society in a liberal world.

Don't just base your opinion by your assumption that Turkey is a muslim nation, its a pretty diverse and multi-cultural country with no formal state religion.
this isn't about laws but by social values, i suppose most of Turkish society view sexual ideas as taboo since theyre ultra conservatives.

Back to the topic, i sometimes and regularly has dreams and fantasize bout rape, from light force to hardcore with bondages and the lot. But i would never, ever, ever, ever rape somebody or take advantage of a girl and i would also want to respect the opposite gender and expect the same.
