Gold and Black metallic looks really nice on Epyon.

Primer Gray + Fluorescent Flat white, as base.
it should look like this. (planning to do this on my DS Ver.Ka in the future)

and add White. then viola. coat it with gloss.

before painting, do some sanding, at least 800-1200 grits will do.
just to remove imperfections and unnecessary molds and bumps that comes along with it.

does Pylox have that florescent white?

that i do not know, the paints that i used where all Bosny/RJ London in brand.
it's kinda tricky to apply.

Hmmmm... Gonna ask them this week end then... I'll prolly use Tamiya acrylic flat white for the top layer since I have access to an air brush now.

well, its your choice, but if you are looking for a clean finish, then you could use a normal white paint, apply decals, panel lines and coat it with Flat.

flat white, is somewhat bothersome to clean up, i applied panel wash on it. and it's a pain in the ass to get the excess paint off. well, if you are going for a dirty/weathered/smoked look, then i suggest go with flat white on top.

Nawwwwww, I've learned from past mistakes and I'll make sure to gloss coat it first before I apply panel lines and decals.

Next stop Decals.

Pylox is thin as fuck, surface is smooth, but somewhat it's not the right kind of white I really want on my Unicorn...

god bless you Zaku-san,you really are one of the pioneer who creates the world of Gunpla.
one time when i accidentally watched a tv special where three guys went to Bandai Hobby Center,they have a chance to meet zaku-san in person and surprisingly,Zaku-san still kept the wooden model prototype for the first RX-78-2 Gundam model inside his desk.that alone is awesome to see the wooden prototype still in mint condition.
