The people at fault are on both sides, Its the parent's fault for neglecting their child, giving him a video game to play on. And not paying attention to his basic needs, which of course is the job of a parent.

The child is at fault too, as said in earlier posts, he should have stopped when he could not take it anymore, have a little restraint at least, esp. that he had such a weak body X_x

But I'd say the people with the biggest fault here would be his parents. They utterly neglected their child until he collapsed. They did not teach him proper restraint... Anyways a kid won't understand though.

Wow, this kid has no self control. I played Wrath of The Lich King for like 15 hours straight but at least I had the decency to get up once and a while, smoke a cigarette, grab a drink or some ramen. I think the child and the parent's are the ones to blame. The child for ignoring his natural instincts to eat, and rest. Then his parent's for not encouraging to at least eat or something.

I am not much of a gamer, at least not anymore these days, so I doubt I can last 3-4 hours at a game without getting a headache.

In response to the article, I can only say that each individual's physical condition is different from that of others. Some can last longer under certain circumstances, while others may not.

Yeah, but RO is (depending on your server) awesome. And since I never played ORO, pirated. Which makes it cooler than WoW.
Actually, the WoW itself isn't too bad, it's really the players that ruin it. And by the players I mean everyone and their mother and cousin and father and uncle and brother and aunt and sister.
Fuck those people.

That sad part of this is that they don't even think about getting a sandwich or a cup of water. I mean after some point your body tells you get feed it. How hard can it be to make a sandwich or get something to drink? It doesn't even take that long. Things like this just piss me off.

You think that kid had an addiction? How about the kid who murdered his grandmother so he could pay for his subscription. That's addiction at it's worst.
