The Best Gundam and Pilot

wait what? =o how is that logical? armored cores are more primitive in nature as compared to "main" gundams at the very least.

But if it were something to take down gundams, i believe 1 orbital frame can take down an entire legion of "main" gundams and come out unscratched =X

but i still believe Armored Cores(from the 4th Series and 4:Answer) can take down main Gundams ,

Ugh, again with Kira Yamato. Even as the Ultimate Coordinator, which seems to be a NewType, he doesn't stand a chance against UC NewTypes. Kira's NewType capabilities are limited to mere telepathic interactions and potentially some NewType senses.

UC NewTypes, on the other hand, can do more than just telepathy. Elpeo Puru in a Qubeley Mk II was able to block various beams from the Psyco Gundam Mk II's bits and perform a super-powered suicide attack. Amuro's Nu Gundam with the Psyco Frame was capable of pushing back Axis, though it was mainly the Psyco Frame opposed to Amuro's NewType abilities. Uso Ewin was able to block the Gottrlatan's Mega Beam Cannon with its Wings of Light and destroy the remainder of Angel's Halo, thanks to his NewType abilities working with the V2 Gundam. Judau Ashta in the ZZ Gundam was able to survive heavy beam fire from the Quin Mantha without a scratch, was able to cut the Psyco Gundam Mk II down to size with a Sword of Rage, and fires a NewType powered High Mega Cannon. Kamille, as the strongest NewType, had the Zeta Gundam survive beam rifle shots without a scratch, cut Yazan down with a Sword of Rage, then finish off Scirroco with a Waverider Crash, all of which were due to his NewType capabilities and the help of the Biosensor.

If Kira was facing off against any of the above NewTypes, he would have his DRAGOON units shot down in no time, then would be unable to do any damage with his attacks due to the various NewType barriers. He would most likely be destroyed by funnels/bits or insane NewType attacks. His Coordinator abilities are limited in this situation.

He didn't rely on any lame ass psychic super powers or overglorified Gundam models. He won his battles with his combat skill, martial honor, and a bit of sheer manly badass.

Exactly. Shinn was great, but Kira and Athrun are a level above him. I mean, frankly, if Kira actually killed, I can imagine him wiping out the opposition in half the time it takes normally by dismembering or disarming the opponents.

After watching Gundam 00, I'm pretty sure Setsuna and 00 Raiser with Trans-Am (or whatever the fuck it's all called) are the best, simply because it can fucking distort space and time. It turns to fucking particles! How do you compete against that?

I'm not saying that Setsuna is the best pilot ever, but his mech has mad hax.

The best pilot is Doemon, with super saiyan like clear water tranquility, got kamehameha in giant size like sekiha tenkyoken, defeated a demonic MS with a size of a mothership, he's better than a gifted, newtype, coordinator. I never watched turn A though, it looks dimension breaking but I can't compare.

The best MS though is Seed Destiny, it get after image for being too fast and its power is like hot knife through butter, it's just that Shin is not too good.

The best pilot is Kira, unlike newtypes, coordinators got berszerk mode. Merges the drama of oldschool and fanciness of newschool gundam in his life. The rival Athrun is a refreshing come up than some political ones, shares personal ideas to some friends and instead of interest in propagating them nationally.

Freedom, it got the simplicity of body, the high boosting, the wings, pilot trances, the guns. He's probaly the pinnacle, changing him in Destiny actually got him ugly, number counts back from zero when there's no greater number is available.

Yes. Setsuna F. Seiei on the Trans-AM 00 Raiser Gundam. There's really nothing else to be said!

Not to mention he reads the enemy's mind, too, within the whole particles thing.

But the 00-Raiser can only enter Burst Mode if it's piloted by a Genuine Innovator. And Setsuna is the only one.

In other words, the pilot matters as well.

Oh, looks like 00 got the strongest, they'll probably make average guy next like on Stardust Memory.

It is hacked but dispite being able to turn into particles, it's on a time limit. Strike Freedom is on a nuclear engine therefore can keep going without any sort of time limit. And I'm sure you already know but SF has never been touched, ever, while 00 Raiser has been totaled by Reborns Gundam.

Oh no, SF got almost defeated by Legend Gundam. Would have been a working drama if he got killed.

I've just watched YT, SRW of Seed Destiny.

SF is the gold jointed one ^^. But I liked Destiny better for amplifying maneuverability, it has no match for multi guns of the top 2 though

Kimille Bidan, Yoshiyuki Tomino said it himself that he was the best. Kira= epic fail gundam pilot : P

I hated Kamille Bidan... then again, I hated the UC series. And Kira kicks ass, even with his emo crying.
