Personally, I'm surprised that G Gundam was only in one of the PS2 games. I mean, his special attacks looked awesome.

I never liked G gundam, they seemed to stop working long before even other mobile suits would, it's like they were made of tissue paper and had bulls-eyes painted on all of their weaknesses, that and it was considered a "big deal" when a pilot died, where as in all other gundam anime when a pilot dies no one cared they just grabbed another meat-bag threw them in the next vehicle they found and hurled them onto the battle field to try to slow down the bastard brigade disguised as a giant robot.

It's weird, but I keep wanting to throw the guys from Heroic Age into the argument, even though I know they aren't robots. They are bio-organisms, but for some reason (primarily their look, size and the space opera type setting) I always want to compare them to mecha.

Also, have to agree with the Lagaan and King Kittan suggestions, that is like the most GAR show ever. King Kittan is a man's man!

Freedom is all plot armor really. Wing Zero could kick its sorry ass , especially with Heero being such a good OldType pilot, though some argue he has NewType potential. Also, Evangelion Unit One is literally a god. How does Freedom compete with a mecha that's become a god?

As for RahXephon and Eva, I give it to RahXephon because it could travel back to when Eva didn't have the S2 Organ and utterly destroy it, which nullifies its godly abilities.

Lol well said on the Rahxephon part. Rahxephon equal super godly, and show equal super godlier. XD Besides, if it traveled back in time, it could just sever the freakin cord powering the Eva. XD

For me I say f*ck all the cheap ass godly made robots. They aren't qualified in participating in an ultimate mech showdown. They are jsut bullshit models some creator made to fucken make bloody flying baby raccoons fly out of their protagonist's (or antagonist's) ass.

Also one thing can easily defeat an Eva... screw with teh pilot's mind. Don't forget peoples, the world thought it was a brilliant idea to give a bunch of godly powered mechs to crybaby whiny bitchy emo adolescennt QQ-tards.

In all honesty, the perfect mecha would be Iron Man.

That is a suit of powered armor, which is better than a mech on many levels, so he doesn't count, but yeah he whips serious ass. Iron Man can fight on the level of some mechs, but against most he is just going to get his ass owned, there is a reason why he and a team of expert super heroes(using the term expert loosely, a better adjective would be experienced then again given the latest Marvel comics, heroes would also be a term to use only loosely.) to take one mecha down at any given time, albeit any one of those Supers could potentially bring a mech down by themselves, it would take them time, which they typically don't have.

cant really say but im sure its not the Strike Freedom, maybe the Unit 01 from evangelion since well its the one needed for the rebirth of mankind(see End of Evangelion)

If Ironman would mostly be powered suit like Kais said, and lets not forget the D-Boy(Tekkaman) and Rom Stol(Machine Robo Chronos) who is the Japanese version of powered suit heroes.

Its hard for me to choose... but I guess I'll go with Valzacard, the Ideon of Super Robo Taisen.
