I'm obsessed with Coco Ichibanya's chicken cutlet curry. There's this one particular ramen place I visit in Tachikawa which grills their pork before adding it to the ramen... add some garlic and some bamboo shoots... yum.
For sushi, I like eel, shrimp and dragon rolls the best. For yakitori, I like spicy BBQ chicken. I also enjoy takoyaki and Japanese-style kebabs in Akihabara.
So far i would say Sushi but however I'm open willingly to try other Japanese foods just to try it and see if i love it too as well and if you don't mind saying this i like to let you all know this 2 of my favorite foods is Chinese food and Sushi and one of my favorite restaurants is china buffet and yep i always/sometimes i always get sushi on one of my plates of food i get when we do go to China Buffet :).
I taught myself how to make all manner of sushi in a month and do it very regularly. My specialties are, of course, Sushi, Tempura, Japanese-style curry, Yakisoba, Gyoza, Ramen and Tonkatsu. After eating them so many times in Japan, I practiced for months and got so good at them, I'm addicted to my own food. God I love japan :D
