Slow because the fast just seems unlikely.

A decomposing corpse would be a slow moving object, not to mention when I think of zombies I tend to think of the slow and shuffling classics more than I think of the more recent fast moving hordes.

Although to be honest I feel in a true outbreak there would be a mix, primarily shufflers, with those that somehow stumble faster than the others, or have mutated in a way to create a capacity for running. Something like that.

With out a doubt the slow ones. One reason is that it is the classical zombie, but the better and much more important is that if someone ever decides to start making zombies I would REALLY like to be able to outrun them :)

In games there's no fun in gunning down slow zombies, there like easy preys.
As for movies I also love fast one's cause there is more thrill!No use making a thriller movie if the killer takes 1 hour to get to you, except for the suprise attacks.

PS: it doesn't matter really to be too realistic about it, remember people fiction is best enjoyed by the imagination.

Hmm... actually, I've made up my mind. Slow zombies!

Zombies shouldn't be liked because they can chase and catch you. Any regular person can do that, or many of the supernatural killers like Michael Myers.

What makes zombies great is that they attack as a group. Even if you can shoot one or two, or even a dozen, there are dozens more, coming straight at you. They never give up, their mindless urge to feast propelling them continuously forward. It's about a person or small group of people fighting the majority - a mob that never stands down, never gets tired, never runs out of members. That's what's great about zombies.

Cheers to that, thats why i love shoot them up zombie games :D

You have a better chance against slow zombies.

Slow zombies evoke more panic than fast ones, especially when they're within arm's reach. :D

Slow, I'm a fearless guy and all but one thing that will always make me panic is fast, man-eating zombies, running at you and tearing you to pieces. Just the thought of it ranks it the most painful experience anyone can ever get from dying slowly.

slow vs fast, slow= if your 15 feet away thats 15 shots. fast= if your fifteen feet away thats maybe 2 or 3 shots if your lucky.

Fast zombies - Run away or aim for the feet FIRST then head. Why aim there?
Its because you need feet to run, crawling seems effective when desperate. Shooting the legs work too just not as effective.


Slow zombies - Simply run or use the environment to your advantage.
Why rely on that?

Slow zombies dont exactly have a major sense of direction. You know how in games like MGS where foot soilders have a range of vision yet can CLEARLY see you?

Same concept just dont make any noise when passing by or they will hear you instead of see you.


Theres tons of ways to survive but only a few of them keep you alive long enough to see the next day @_@.

Slow zombies are better, because it ups your servival rate. Also it has a more sycologial affect on a person to fight a slow adversary that is constently hunting you down then a fast opponent that will probably catch you in a few hours.

slow zombies...they're easier to score a head shot with...click click bang. plus it's fun to see them just drop dead (again) slowly. but then i'm sadistic when i play shooter games. so that's just my opinion

Fast zombies for me.

With slow zombies in games it feels like i'm running away from my grandad.

Prefer fast zombies in games because it makes the combat more intense, like in Left 4 Dead. But in reality, I would prefer slow zombies because they aren't as dangerous.
