I'm Bi-curious, is that okay?

I have a question for everyone.

I'm male, for years I've been atracted to women and have never layed eyes on a man. Up until this year, I've been meeting people who has pretty much influenced me into being bi-curious. Up until now, I've been having mixed feelings about men and women. I can't help it at all, and my mother gave me the "God doesn't like gays" talk because she found some Hentai in my computer, (Shemale, gay, etc) so she assumes I'm gay, but I didn't have the heart to tell her that I'm bi-curious.

My friends are homophobic and I'm heasitant to tell them I'm a little attracted to men. That includes my family too. People tell me it's okay to be atracted to men, but so many people are telling me otherwise.

I'm very confused on what I should do. Especially when my family turns everything serious into a joke. I need a different opinion. Is it okay to be bi-curious?

It's not the point of it being ok or not. You have those feeling.. your not breaking laws.. it cool you like traps, mens or futas. Shit i do too. Tell your mom and friends to accept it or fuck off.

Of course it's alright. Homosexual attraction between people has been around for thousands of years with the most famous examples being the Ancient Greeks and the Romans. Hell even Alexander the Great had a gay partner, as Achilles had Patroclus and so on.

I used to be slightly bi-curious myself even though I was brought up a Christian, and while I'm not bi-curious anymore I can understand why some people are bi-curious. For me it was because I was too shy to talk to girls and hanging around with the guys felt really reassuring to me. I couldn't even look at a girl for five seconds back then while I had no problems with the boys at all, and that contributed immensely to my tastes.

If your family doesn't accept it, just keep it to your self. Some things just won't work out with one's family, and at times like these it's alright to have a few secrets of your own.

It's called "bi-curious" for a reason, you aren't sure if you really are bi, just considering your options.

And yes, it's fine to be bi-curious. It's your choice what you do, nobody else's. You should really stop letting people muscle their opinions onto you in an attempt to control you. Do what you want.

Wow thanks guys, I just seriously need someone to talk to due to every one of my friends being homophobic.

I can't help that I have feelings for men, I'm just scared on how people would veiw me if they heard thag I like men as well.

Whether you stay in the closet or not depends a great deal upon what your area is like; some communities are more accepting, whereas others are just as bad as the Bible Belt stereotypes.

If you're fearful of your familys' reaction- best keep it hush-hush until you move out and are financially stable.

May seem overly precautious- but there have been cases of people actually disowning their kids because of such trivial shit.

Excuse me for harping upon the religious aspect so much- whether this is cause of or against my stance on Gay Rights- I was raised Irish Catholic.

Alright everyone, after giving it much consideration, I've decided I'm going to be bisexual and proud if it.

Uh dude, let's forget for a moment that this clearly isn't SD level material. Being bisexual isn't really a choice bro. You can only be bisexual if you're sexually attracted to both genders. Repeat after me, sexually attracted to both genders. If only one gender causes that happy wood in your pants, then you're not bisexual.

Believe me, I have been getting boners from both men and women, I had to think about what my options were first and think back to what's been happening to me. And I noticed that I've been getting attracted to a few guys around. So yes, that is indeed my choice to be bisexual.

There isn't any thing wrong with it but you may want to keep it quite till you are in a relationship with the same sex cause if it's likely to cause you harm and if you end up going for the opposite sex you may as well dodge the hassle.

It would also depend on how strict they are with their beliefs like the church they go to are they open to all people or are they selective. A good way of maybe braking the ice would be to test them by saying you just found out one of your friends is gay if they tell you to brake off your friendship you may have a problem but one of your parents might just be mirroring the other and doesn't feel the same way.

I just want to say futa isn't a gay thing only straight and bisexuals like it gays are not interested. I'm straight and I love futa.

I do think that there is a point in time in everyone's life when they have to solidify what their sexuality is going to be. You have to ask your self seriously, Am I straight? Am I gay? I personally believe that Bi-curious people are just at this point in their life when they are trying to decide. Its not wrong for you to be figuring out where you stand. As long as you figure it out.

now as a bisexual man myself let me give some advice. do what you will with it but here goes.

1. you should tell your friends and i don't mean all of them only those you feel comfortable and know you can trust. let them know whats up and if they are truly your friends they will accept you no matter what.

2. only let your parents know if you feel ready and ONLY if they are willing to listen and understand. if you feel like they are going to ridicule you keep quiet. (i too have religious parents so i know how it feels.)

3. if you are attracted to some of your male friends just be careful they might get weird if you tell them that.

4. some girls are attracted to bisexual men so this is a boon. trust me.

5. be careful who you tell if you feel that this new information of you will bring you problems, if it will get back to your folks by word of mouth remember be selective on who you tell.

now i give this advice because it sounds like you might be either in a very religious area or in the bible belt. just be you, be proud and let no one tell you otherwise remember the world is a tricky place, people will try to hurt you.

And please don't write in religious stuff like God don't like gays, we don't wanna hear that since it creates problems anyways. What we want is to hear about your curiosity and what we can do to help you get through this, ok?

Talk with some people who are bisexual and see if your sexuality leads to specific sex's or both genders.

It is a natural phase in life and I am sure that many religious people have had it in their minds when they were young as well.

Don't think too much about it, just experiment it and see if it is ok for you.
