lol,I want to second that but considering I too don't have that much posts although I joined for quite some time, :oops: .Yeah, I agree,quality over quantity but these days people tend to tell who u are from what you look not what you can do.It really sad if you think about it :cry: Fk that!

Crap I feel like this is sort of directed at me, except when I look back most of my posts are me arguing with other people about topics I didn't start, while I bring logic and knowledge, I'm not sure where I fit in all of this...

I know where you're coming from rukia but the user base is growing. There's a lot more people that are joining the forums and are being active. Since there's so many people now you can easily just keep posting because there's almost always people replying. It's getting easier to get that post count up than it was before. It's not so much spam (unless you're talking about Chuu) as it is people just being active. And sure, threads sometimes go off topic but it's not that bad. Users definitely need to work on that(me included I'm sure) but it's not out of hand. We're just having a good time.

well as far as IB is concerned you kinda gotta expect that in a forum that has incoherent babbling in the forum name. as for the rest you are totally right. im not really sure how much the admins and such moderate but haveing a few others to help out seems to be in order.(just as i see it from my chair. if yall are already doing this then woot)

Lol what, I've been registered longer that waar. But I guess since I only started posting like a few weeks ago, the other months don't count. Anyway, rukia, I completely agree. Many topics go off about something completely different than the matter at hand, which in some cases (read: Incoherent Babbling) is okay, but in others, like the serious discussion forum, it isn't. So anyway, thanks for saying something that needed to be said.

I feel confident that I'm not adding to the problem. Though if I'm wrong I'm sure Onee-chan would tell me so I could straighten up my act. I believe its because of the large influx of people. I've seen FAKKU mentioned on 4chan and other sites so we have to pay the price of our popularity.

i'm contributing myself 100% to FAKKU. all over the time. almost everyday i sit in front of this monitor to watch FAKKU. not even a second i move from my seat.

i always check the situation and features in FAKKU which i posted it in "Suggestion,Feedback,Support" page. checking every feature in FAKKU. even i have something to add to make this site even better.

Yeah, the fact that it's been posted on 4chan means that there wil be a few idiot/newfags/underage b& joining here, who think that they're awesome and know everything. Which they don't. I'm not a problem, right?! I'll try to troll less.

I can imagine it would be a pain in the ass for Onee-chan (I would probably feel more comfortable using Onee-sama though) Rukia to name names, but it would still help a bunch of insecure types like myself, most of whom don't want to be a burden on the community so they feel the desire to see if they are part of the problem, but they generally are not. I think it would still make many of us feel better if we were told we aren't on that list, it's just that there is a lot of people to name so it's kind of a waste of effort. I will admit though Chuu is a colossal burden on the community, I've argued with him before, it isn't pleasant, he is one of those who don't know when they have been beaten.

I tend to just reply in threads that catch my interest, like this one. And I do see what you mean. I think that the introduction to the "Elder" status has somewhat fueled people to post more.

Agreed. I spend more time looking at threads than I do posting. Mainly because I either just want to tell certain people to shut the fuck up, or I don't feel I can contribute to the thread. Another rule of thumb for myself is to try not to post unless I can fill in more than two sentences (ignoring the incoherent babbling section).

This may be why I don't have nearly as many posts as most people. I like to think that my posts aren't all mindless.

I was getting that feeling for a while too, but with the flaming I kind of felt like it was one of those things that some people needed to get out of their system and that it would subside. It kind of has settled down, but those type of situations are kind of like herpes and heroin addiction, it might not be a big problem at times, but it never really goes away. As long as there's a diverse group of people, there's going to be flaming and senseless bickering.

I do make a lot of posts. I joined about a week before Onee-chan and I have like 200 more posts than her, but that's only because I get into conversations and I've been a very active member since I joined. I'll post bullshit sometimes, but I feel I've managed to keep it under control. No one's ever called me on it, so I guess I'm good. I try not to go off on tangents, but if I stray from the main topic, I'll either try to get back on track or my posts are so long that a lot of people kind of just brush them aside.

Unless we manage to create some sort of group of hyper-efficient super mods, I don't think the whole spamming/trolling/whatever other sources of bullshit posts issue will ever be completely manageable. I think that if I put the time in, I could be a fairly efficient mod. There's a number of dedicated Fakkers who I think would do a good job as well. What I do think would be kind of a good idea, I might post it in the suggestions forum if I get around to it, is have as many of the regulars keep on their toes and kind of make a note of any bullshit they come across so it can be dealt with. I suppose that's kind of what the report link is for, but some people tend to feel a little weird about reporting shit.

Well, one way to fix this problem would be: instead of determing the ranks of the users just by the post count, how about the admins add more stats? Such as minutes online, or pages viewd, or messages read, membership time. Plus the post count.

For example: Lets make up a rank "Order of the Rabbit" stats needed - 300 posts, 1,000 minutes online, 2000 messages read, member for at least 2 months.

And raise the stats/ requirements for each rank as they go up. You won't have many "elders" with that.

this might clear up some things. if you have quality posts, it doesn't matter how much you post... it's all good because you bring something good to the table. it's some of the bullshit that falls off topic and doesn't make any sense. I'm not asking for all of you to agree, just read my venting words and think about it.

Yeah, it's better just to ignore him. In a related note, I think this thread should stay for all new members to see, hopefully they'll catch the drift that we don't particularly enjoy this kind of behavior.
