You said the omniscience was basically true. I asked you how do you know that? How do you know that to be the truth?
Also, do you admit that the bible, which is the basis for christianity, imperfect? It was written by man and it does have a shitload of contradictions, right (I'll gladly link you o them)? If you agree that the bible is filled with imperfect testimony of god bullshit, then your basis for your religion is bullshit. You say that "not a single word of mine is a false testimony of God" yet you only know about god through the bible. How could you possibly know what you say is what god actually wants from us or what he really is?
Well, I said God is infinite, something unreachable. Omniscience means all knowing, yet the our basis of knowledge is only what our mind can comprehend. In that sense, if the existence of God is greater than ours, it might as well mean he already knows everything in our capacity to know and beyond.
I also said that I believe in shankyshank's "everything" God, a single entity but a being of existence itself. If everything composes of God, then I can suppose he is omniscient.
Also, I believe that the bible consists of mixed truths and exaggerated stories. A reason for this is because the people of the time cannot comprehend what they are seeing and can only describe it using objects and creatures they know. You can treat the bible as a story book with a moral lesson, or you can see it as a rule book. But to limit one self to only that book means limiting knowledge and wisdom, for the said text is based on the understanding of the people on those ancient times, and it is safe to say that our understanding has increased much from then.
And as I have also said, I'm a practicing Christian (mainly due because I was born in a christian family and has Christian for a name) but I believe in a universal God not bound by biblical standards, or at any religious standard at that.
Some people see God as a being to worship, some as an object of blame, some as a friend or savior. Personally, I view him as a goal we can never reach. He doesn't grade us according to how good we were, nor desire for us to offer gifts to him. A usually said, God moves in mysterious ways, and one cannot comprehend his entire being. I do good because I brings good things for me, and I believe in God in order to improve myself.
PS: Just post your reply and I'll answer tomorrow. Its 3am here in my place and I need to sleep soon.
