Today just isn't my day

i had a simlillar experience in wich my mom wuz gonna take the computer out of my room & hav n her classroom (she teaches 1st & 2nd grade) & i had round 5 gigs of hentai but i couldnt get it off cause it was an older computer. so i went through a whole buch of measurements 2 make shur it wuz hidden well so her lil bratts (& my mom) couldnt get n 2 it, & could retrieve it later, turns out she only moves it down stairs, & it takes me nearly a month 2 find it again (also took care of that +rep 4 ya)

I'm sorry to hear that. It has to be the most dramatic thing that i've heard. You have my support.

Sorry to hear about your computer troubles, but in the grand scheme of things, it could have been worse eh? Was your computer plugged into a surge protector or just a power strip? Surge protectors are our friends. Anyway, starting anew can be cathartic, think of it as a new beginning and not an ending =).

Oh and while data recovery services are available for formatted/damaged hard drives, they cost $$$$ and I think it's not really a feasible solution for us regular folks.
