At first i was against it when i was a little younger, that all changed when i had the privilege to work inside a state prison [Texas Department of Criminal Justice] this year.
(I was working for TDCJ for about 8/9 months.I resigned because i got accepted to a police academy that i applied)
That all change when i started seeing how [most] inmates talked so lightly about what they have committed and how they would like to go back and change things for the worst. Inside of the state prison i worked as an Administrative Segregation officer, short for AdSe. inmates would call this place "the hotbox" "the hole" "lockdown"
We had to wear protective vest and eye protection in order to enter are assigned "Pods" are working area. anyway make things short, i approve of the Death penalty, most of this inmates take things for granted and are just a waist of our tax money.
overall I liked working for TDCJ,it was a great job and had a lot of fun working with my co-workers
Good experience, loved it
