Got some vids up on the 3S channel. Sucks that they upload it on such low quality but it's better than nothing, correct?
Sakabato24 - Ryu bpack12 - Urien
Shoryuken saves the day again. Nice match.
Epic match, I wonder if it would be okay to upload some of my replays on FAKKU, but only the best ones? I might do so for anyone interested in challenging me for a match.
Damn i really need some serious private training lessons online. CPU is definitely not the way to improve and online i'm just getting my ass handed to me all day long. Speaking of online, i haven't won a single round let alone a whole set which gets frustrating later on. I don't know what can be the problem maybe i'm just not cut out for Makoto but, i wanna play no one except her so....
So far i noticed some SSF4 leftover habits like trying to Tsurugi on a crouching opponent which doesn't work in 3s no matter how hard you try *well maybe works on Hugo* and just outpoke my opponent with normals which fails most of the time. And the biggest problem is: i never parry. It just never goes into my mind to parry *except for the moments when i get spammed by fireballs*, i always defend.
Anywho, I was playing some 3So earlier and I thought it'll be a good idea to dust off my copy of SSFIV. I haven't played AE online and I haven't touched it in ages. Proceeded to pop in the disc and go online, and well... I'm never touching SSFIV or AE until 2012...

I still can't believe that Capcom actually gave us the chance to perform this combo and the parry INTO combo into Ken's trials in 3SO, I knew I should have taken more parrying lessons more seriously back when I had Anniversary Collection on the PS2 years ago! I came close to parrying the full supers once, but messed up...Daigo truly is a fricking beast, time for me to dig up my parrying research faqs once more...
Anyway, just posting a random match I had the other day, I seem to be getting good to handle my own as Alex who is my main in 3S. Enjoy the match.

Glad to see you won that match. Your opponent is a typical garbage ryu player. spam the same moves over and over.

I'm alad to see you enjoyed my fight, I kinda got lucky some point in the fight, but I made sure not to get to confident when I'm online against Ryu users and stayed on the defensive, I may need a bit more practice until I can unlock my chain and cancel combos, I wonder if they can be used online?
Anyway, for entertainment purposes again, here's another match I had with one of my new online friends who is really good at this game on a recent player match, this time me playing as Ken while he is Urien, with me pulling off a wicked, perfect parry mid match.

Good tips for your Alex :
When playing against shotos (e.g. Ken, Ryu, Sean, and Gouki) All of their crouching roundhouses are easily punishable on block up-close. Use this to your advantage by punishing with a good BnB combo like c.Jab>c.JabxxChop instead of going for the stomp. Super also helps punish a lot of sweeps, and better if you can hit-confirm the Super.
Also, I would suggest learning to charge partition.
As for you Ken, good freakin' parry. Learn how to hit-confirm to SA3 though. You can hit-confirm SA3 from :
