ok i've gone through all the posts and it seems I'm the only noob with this problem.
ive gone to the site and DLed the text patch, the readme says to extract files to the directory(this is were i extracted files for the game and got the iso files I'm 99% sure).So heres the thing, how in gods name do I replace the files(the ones in the DLL?) I've mounted the files already and installed game and it runs but obviously in japanese.where exactly do I need to replace the files? Please help im such an idiot =(

Just finished playing my first round of the game. AWESOME! As expected from AliceSoft.
Certainly a great game, and so much content. I want to see it all but I think I'll wait for the next version of the patch. So much that is still untranslated, but it looks like the translation is advancing nicely.

Also I have a question, except the sense of accomplishment, doe's getting character clears have any beneficial purpose? (for future gaming rounds that is)

By the way, if anyone want to compare -
First round "accomplishments":
- Conquered all of japan on Kunagis route.
- Got about 1/2 the CGs
- Got 9 character clears (but not Kunagis, damn.)
- Finished the game on turn 97. (was trying to squeeze anything I could)

And.. thats about all I can think of right now (also it wasn't that hard except that annoying "god" thing of the crusaders that got me to change tactics to 5 active zones each turn)

EDIT: Something that might be worth mentioning - The installed game dir is completely independent. Meaning I copied it to my USB so I can keep playing on different PCs anytime anywhere. (given they had the regional lang set to jap)

The folder in the game directory that is labeled DLL is where the dlls go.



Clearing 3 stars will give increases to all stats except for evade to the cleared characters. 5 stars nets you even more stats and extra stamina.

Well I know for sure that you need to 5 star clear a character for you to use them in Chaos mode.

Yeah the Star bonuses carry over playthroughs.

Clearing the character events gives bonuses for THAT game only. The 3 star bonus and the 5 star bonus will be applied if you've previously cleared a character and gotten those star clears. The 3 or the 5 star bonus will be added (whichever is greater) when you get the character for that game. To sum it up, the best you can get is a character with a 5 star bonus + their events cleared again for that game.

Whenever you want a torrent for eroge.

Use torrent sites
1. Go to sukubei.nyaatorrents or tokyotosho
2. get the japanese game of the game you want, in this case, it's 大番長
3. Search that in torrent sites, just make sure the size is right, in this case, about 1.4GB

Or just google it together with hongfire.

I think you get the 999 stuff in chaos mode only...

So for Sanae Hibiki's 3rd star, it says to Obtain her ending. How would I go about doing that...I've already gotten her to level 8 love.

Yeah I have aproblem with the ending to, I get Sanae's ending but I want Kunagi's ending. What do I hve to do to get Kunagi's rather than Sanae?

Wow...so you have to beat the game at least six times, seeing as how there are 6 H-able girls...

So which girl's ending is decided by who has the most love at the end right? First playthrough, no girl can really match Sanae..

IIRC, a girl needs to be at love 8 in order to qualify for an ending, otherwise it defaults to sanae.
