they released PS3 slim as 299, wait a year. the price will be 199, and when its cheaper its playing value will have tripled since I will have allot more titles to choose from.

I'm definitely planning on it now, but I don't know when I'll get one. Maybe when WKC comes out, or if/when they announce Tales of Vesperia, which ever comes first (if I have the money that is.)

I'm planning on getting a new slim version of it, but it's shame that I can't get the lightning one.

Heh, I guess not. Only strategy games I enjoy are Fire Emblem, and Shadow Dragon was so mediocre that I'm not even sure I can appreciate FE anymore.

Bought one. Beat: Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 & 2, Uncharted 1 & 2, and Demon's Soul at least 2 or 3 times in a two week time span. Didn't touch the PS3 at all after that for a week saw no use of it and took my second PS3 back.

I noticed they did this with the PS2 also. Maybe they should think about the design first next time

I have the original PS3 so i wont be buying the new one, besides it looks stupid.. there's no pressure sensitive button pads, just actual buttons. and it's not even shiny!!!

The 250Gb PS3 has been confirmed for $349.
