It reminds me more of Evangelion the original anime in that the main is hopeless and clueless and knows nothing while events transpire around him that directly involve him.

Ouch, that kind of hurts my soul. I didn't like evangelion, would it still be worth trying to play this game?

Depends.
I actually liked the main in the beginning(He's somewhat intelligent and I could relate to him somewhat) but he starts to become a cowardly girl and the story takes time to pick itself up but once it did I liked it somewhat but like I said it takes time and the main just makes it like trying to trudge through waist deep mud.

Depends.

Be fair to the guy though; He's a loneley antisocial otaku jackass in way, way, WAY over his head, and he knows it.

Oh man, I spent about 30 minutes skimming through these 30 pages, and all I can find about ChaoS;HEAd Noah is only 1 post, so I was wondering if TLWiki is going to port the game to the pc... If so then HAHAHAHAHA!!!

hmm downloaded the chaos files and converted to .rar, but when i tried to extract the iso it said the file was broken

part 2 doesnt download it, when i select regular download it goes to "check connection" but with othe files it worked

errrr. Is this version of chaos head the one with only one route just like the anime or the one in xbox360 where in the other heroines have the chance of hooking up with the protagonist? xD

After hours of fiddling around since following the instructions didn't work, I finally gave up.
The game installs correctly, and can be played in japanese. I, however, cannot read japanese. When I use the english patch, the game just stops working. It will give me a black screen, and the window will refuse to even close unless I stop the process with task manager.
However, I did notice that when I was using the patch, it said some program stopped working, and then continued. Perhaps the problem lies there?
Note, I did read what klown put up in the spoiler. No it did not help.
If anyone can help, it would be appreciated.

Figured out something called crage.exe stops working during the patching. Its probably the cause of the problem.
If anyone knows of a solution, please tell me.

After more fiddling around and research, found out a couple of things.
By using applocale, I can make the first warning screen (the 18+ stuff) appear, and the music is there as well. However, once that warning screen fades, the screen stays black. When I try to close it, it gives me the "are you sure" box, but without the yes or no option. Essentially, I still have to use task manager.
Another thing is that when I answer the question with "trick question", it always gives me the same "not recognized" stuff. Tested it out later by putting in random phrases, the patch will still run, and the result is the same no matter what I put it in. Refer below to see what it.
Once again, I'm lost. Out of new stuff to try out. Tried opening it with every combination of compatibility from the properties menu. Language setting is Japanese. For the heck of it, I even tried chinese and korean. No cigar. Someone please help.

Not that hard to setup the game. Child's play for me, but to get things up and running: (Before following the steps make sure you are in Japanese Unicode or Applocale.
1.Mount the ISO and install (Enter the product key; check the bottom of the second page in this thread if you can't find it. When mounting, if daemon tools fail, use something else like Virtual Clone. I'm using it.)
2.Copy the Nodvd patch over the original exe file in the place where you installed it. (If you having problems moving it over, make sure you right click-properties-add admin rights to the folder;Full control.)
3.Download the Antibat and move into the Chaos;Head installation folder and run it. Follow and read all the instructions carefully.
4. Then play it.
Trust me, if you follow all the instructions in the readme you shouldn't have much of a problem.
EDITED:...And these steps do work for Windows 7. I installed it on my system and it is running without problems.

The damn thing won't allow me to enter the cd key. When i ckiled game install, an error popped up.
