Getchu Description: Tomoya Okazaki is a third year high school student who dislikes his life. However, Tomoya finds that his life is about to change when he meets Nagisa. Tomoya's mother (Atsuko) died when Tomoya was young, leaving his father (Naoyuki) to raise him. After the accident, Tomoya's father turned to alcohol and gambling, and held frequent fights with his son. One day, Naoyuki, again arguing with his son, slammed Tomoya against the wall, dislocating Tomoya's shoulder. Ever since then, his father has treated Tomoya nicely, but distantly, as if Tomoya and he were strangers rather than a family. This hurts Tomoya more than his previous relationship with his father, and the awkwardness of returning home leads Tomoya constantly to stay out all night. Additionally, the injury disables Tomoya from participating in his basketball club, and pushes him to distance himself from his school and other activities. Thus his delinquent life begins. Tomoya's psychology is further developed in his dreams of a bleak world. In the first few dreams of that kind, he sees a world which is devoid of all people except for this one girl, whom is never shown but is spoken of. Each time he dreams he finds out more about the world. Later on, Tomoya finds out that the girl has a special ability to fuse junk together to create new things, with which she creates a body for him. Thus he is reborn in this world, and fills time following the girl around. Tomoya conceives that only the two of them are "alive". Setting: The first half of the story takes place at a high school in Japan, which is the best school in the city where the story takes place. This high school is largely modeled after the University of Tsukuba-affiliated junior-high and high school Komaba in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan. Throughout the story, glimpses into an Illusionary World are shown. This world is devoid of all life except for a young girl, though she later makes a body out of junk pieces through which the player can interact with her. The remaining half of the story takes place in the same city, albeit ten years after the conclusion of the first half. Read the READ ME! file for how to install the voices and English Patch. Can someone tell me how to install it step by step. THe guide on the orginal thread confuses me.So far i downloaded parts 1,2,and 3 from the megavid link at the top and have them in a winzar form in a seperate folders in my documents. I have windows exp

Mount the file Clannad.cdi and install the game.

Well unrar them with winrar. You need to read all of the FAQ if this is your first game ever.

Did you download all of the parts before trying to extract them?

Did you delete the old seen.txt file before trying to add the English one?

I cant play the game T.T

I cannot pass through the First Menu.

NEW GAME
LOAD
CONFIG
NAME
Exit

When i click any of those(exept Exit) the screen changes BG(and BGM) then hangs up.

i tried reinstalling it 3 times and i get the same results.

who knows the solution to my problem?

You must have your settings in Japanese before playing the game or it will crash.

There is not enoufe space on CLANNED. You need an additional 1.12 GB to copy these files
