Also changed the translation link to the translator's download page. However the game is now probably missing the no-dvd patch.

The setup.exe is the translation right? Since the torrent includes everything.
Is the patch an installer as well? Or I shoukd patch it after installing it?

Doki just released Tomoyo After patch and there's still some work to do on it. It'll still be some time before a new patch for Clannad.

The current translation for Clannad is in need of some edititing though you could play the game and understand most of it. The scripts are fully translated but I think that some pics (as far as I remember there are some ocasions in the end of routes where you see a white screen with some text. Those are the pics) aren't fully translated, the menu is also translated and that's it I guess.

So I need to dl the translation file separately?
Then what does the setup.exe do?

The torrent appears to be trustworthy so it's probably a false-positive.

In this case, the torrent already includes the english translation. When you install the game, the translation is installed as well. Check the torrent info:


However, the translation included is not the latest one so you might want to get it here. It's the Clannad full voice version. Copy the contents of the files to the game folder replacing files if necessary.

In the case you din't use the torrent, you need to install the game probably using the "setup.exe" and then install the translation files by copying it's contents to the folder where you installed the game. So yeah, you need to download the translation files separately if they're not included.

id like to say thanks i had problem with the torrent but i replaced the exe in the torrent version with the ddl nodvdcrack and it works fine i suspect the torrent of a virus.
